- Great to be here today. Human Centered Health Care – deals with the notion of empowering the person not just when they are a patient – putting the person at the center of a new value chain - Human Centered Value Chain dealing with an individual’s health and well being – from the moment a person is born to the moment they die. Too often we use old world notions from the Industrial Revolution where we put the person as a passive participant at the end of a value chain and we deal with them in aggregated segments according to their condition or age, gender as male or female and aggregate them to categories such as infant, elderly, and deal with them in silos – hospital, doctor, pharmaceutical company, not in an integrated human centric manner down to a segment of one – the individual. We are all unique (fingerprint, DNA, Proteins) and human centered personalized wellbeing and healthcare way forward – key trends driving that change.
