2. Within ICT terminology, it is any base of technologies on which other technologies or processes are
built. An online platform, is a base of technologies designed to run within an online environment and
provides interactive online services. Online platforms nowadays offer varied services which you can use
to develop your own ICT content. These online platforms currently include, but are not limited to:
Presentation or Visualization, Cloud Computing, Social Media, Web Page Creation, File Management,
and Mapping.
Presentation or Visualization-This is an online platform that allows you to present and share presentations,
infographics and videos with other people.
Cloud Computing-This is a platform often referred to simply as "the cloud". In other words, instead of using
your computer's hard drive, you store and access your data and programs over the Internet.
3. Social Media-The information can be in the form of ideas, pictures, videos or anything that you want to create
and share to the virtual communities. The information you share will be the basis of the people to interact,
share content and collaborate with you and the large group of people.
Web Page Creation-This is an online platform that lets you build a web page that includes colors, text, images,
and often contain links to media such as video and audio. The platform does not require any web programming
skill as they provide a drag and drop interface and free hosting as well.
File Management-This is an online platform that allows you to convert and manage files like images, video,
documents, audio and more to other formats without downloading software tool.
Mapping-This is an online platform that provides detailed information about geographical regions and sites
around the world. It allows for embedding of maps into proprietary sites.
4. www.google.com/drive/-Google drive is a cloud computing online platform. A cloud storage service created
by Google. It allows users to backup filles in the cloud, share files with collaborators, and access them
anywhere. These files can either be documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. Google Drive includes
Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, an office sulte that permits collaborative editing of documents, spreadsheets,
presentations, drawings, forms, and more. Google Drive was launched on April 24, 2012 and now has more than
200 million-monthly-active users.
www.facebook.com-Facebook is a social media online platform. Is one of the most popular social networking
sites that allow users to create profiles, upload photos and video, share links, send messages and keep in touch
with friends, family and colleagues. Was founded last 2004 and its mission is "to give people the power to share
and make the world more open and connected. People use Facebook to stay connected with friends and
family, to discover what's going on in the world, and to share and express what matters to them,"
