SUMMARY
"Empowering entrepreneurship" is an initiative seeking to improve the sense of initiative of
entrepreneurship, increasing the motivation and providing the skills needed to create a
successful business. In order to achieve the purpose, the two main leaning objectives were
formulated - to improve soft skills and to understand the business process creation. The
project is transnational and multi-measure, consisting of participants from 8 countries
(Lithuania as a hosting country, Greece, Poland, Estonia, Italy, Bulgaria, Hungary and
Turkey) and activities as workshops of the role of leadership, practising techniques of ideas
generation (brainstorming, mind mapping, de Bono’s six thinking hats), exercises practising
public speaking, workshop of CANVAS, knowing the funding opportunities and writing
business plan. The results will be disseminated through mentoring, writing a BLOG and
providing lectures in a high school in the country of origin.
OBJECTIVES
The main objective of the project - to improve the sense of initiative of
entrepreneurship, increasing the motivation and providing the skills needed to create a
successful business.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
The main two learning objectives were formulated as provided below:
 To improve soft skills, i.e. creativity, public speaking, business etiquette, leadership,
intercultural awareness, etc.
 To understand the business process creation
TARGET GROUP
It is the multi-measure project, consisting of two parts. First part of the project
involves bachelor degree students. The second part of the project - no limitation in age but
the applicants must have a business idea.
It is a transnational project and the applicants will be selected by the following
countries:

ACTIVITIES
For the first objective "To improve soft skills, i.e. creativity, public speaking, business
etiquette, leadership, intercultural awareness, etc." the following activities were
distinguished:
 Workshop of the role of leadership
 Knowing the differences of the different markets
 Practising techniques on generating ideas (brainstorming, mind mapping, de Bono’s
six thinking hats)
 Exercises practising public speaking by pitching business ideas in 2-5 minutes
For the second objective "To understand the business process creation" the following
activities were identified:
 Workshop of CANVAS
 Presentation by mentors on the aspects of business plan
 Lecture of presenting the possibilities to get investments and the workshop of
presentation of ideas by pitching, proving potential investors of idea's success
TOOLS FOR DISSEMINATION OF RESULTS
Participants of the first part of the project:
 Those who will be selected to the second part of the project will be mentoring the next
year's first part participants

 Write of BLOG of experience gained in the program
 Provide a lecture in the high school back in their home country on entrepreneurship
Participants of the second part of the project:
 Participate actively presenting ideas in the pitching-events
 Become as mentors in the events where the CANVAS instrument is applied,
supporting the professional development of youngsters for aspiring entrepreneurship

  • 3. 3 SUMMARY "Empowering entrepreneurship" is an initiative seeking to improve the sense of initiative of entrepreneurship, increasing the motivation and providing the skills needed to create a successful business. In order to achieve the purpose, the two main leaning objectives were formulated - to improve soft skills and to understand the business process creation. The project is transnational and multi-measure, consisting of participants from 8 countries (Lithuania as a hosting country, Greece, Poland, Estonia, Italy, Bulgaria, Hungary and Turkey) and activities as workshops of the role of leadership, practising techniques of ideas generation (brainstorming, mind mapping, de Bono’s six thinking hats), exercises practising public speaking, workshop of CANVAS, knowing the funding opportunities and writing business plan. The results will be disseminated through mentoring, writing a BLOG and providing lectures in a high school in the country of origin. OBJECTIVES The main objective of the project - to improve the sense of initiative of entrepreneurship, increasing the motivation and providing the skills needed to create a successful business. LEARNING OBJECTIVES The main two learning objectives were formulated as provided below:  To improve soft skills, i.e. creativity, public speaking, business etiquette, leadership, intercultural awareness, etc.  To understand the business process creation TARGET GROUP It is the multi-measure project, consisting of two parts. First part of the project involves bachelor degree students. The second part of the project - no limitation in age but the applicants must have a business idea. It is a transnational project and the applicants will be selected by the following countries:
  • 4. 4 Countries Number of participants Lithuania (host country) 6 Greece 2 Poland 2 Estonia 2 Italy 2 Bulgaria 2 Hungary 2 Turkey 2 ACTIVITIES For the first objective "To improve soft skills, i.e. creativity, public speaking, business etiquette, leadership, intercultural awareness, etc." the following activities were distinguished:  Workshop of the role of leadership  Knowing the differences of the different markets  Practising techniques on generating ideas (brainstorming, mind mapping, de Bono’s six thinking hats)  Exercises practising public speaking by pitching business ideas in 2-5 minutes For the second objective "To understand the business process creation" the following activities were identified:  Workshop of CANVAS  Presentation by mentors on the aspects of business plan  Lecture of presenting the possibilities to get investments and the workshop of presentation of ideas by pitching, proving potential investors of idea's success TOOLS FOR DISSEMINATION OF RESULTS Participants of the first part of the project:  Those who will be selected to the second part of the project will be mentoring the next year's first part participants
  • 5. 5  Write of BLOG of experience gained in the program  Provide a lecture in the high school back in their home country on entrepreneurship Participants of the second part of the project:  Participate actively presenting ideas in the pitching-events  Become as mentors in the events where the CANVAS instrument is applied, supporting the professional development of youngsters for aspiring entrepreneurship
