Transform your business: Create a Culture for Continuous Improvement - Dig Wo...Invest Northern Ireland
You have improved the operation of your business or are looking to do so. But how do you keep it going?
How do you keep everyone moving forward?
If you want better outputs, more motivated staff, increasing profits and a culture of continuous improvement you need to attend this conference.
With the future uncertain you need to be in control of your business growth. At this event there will be a practical workshop session led by a specialist in the field.
Dig Woodvine, Managing Director, XCL International
A session for patients and families from experienced patient and family advisors, on how to become more involved in the role and participate in a meaningful way. Cindy and Heather will both tell their stories on how they got involved as patient and family advisors, including the importance of this role and how they found their voice to speak up and be involved in many improvement efforts. A ‘how to’ for future advisors to find their voices and make changes in their home health regions. An excellent session for healthcare staff who are considering creating advisory councils in their own regions.

2. One-to-One Counselling
This is a block of sessions with a
dedicated counsellor over a short period
of time (usually 6-8 weeks) that could
help you address specific issues that are
causing distress. Some examples include:
99 Depression, anxiety or crisis
99 Coping with stress or pressure
99 Loss of confidence or self-esteem
99 Health issues
99 Family and work relationships
99 Bereavement, loss or relocation
How Can Counselling Help Me?
There are times when we may face a
situation or prolonged experience that
affects our ability to deal with things.
We all have a range within which we can
manage and adjust to the ups and downs
of life. When something happens that
pushes us outside our range we find it
difficult to regain our balance. When this
happens, being sad, worried, anxious or
depressed can be a reaction.
Counselling provides a safe and
confidential space where we can share our
feelings with the confidence we won’t be
judged. A trained counsellor can support
and help you to share difficult feelings
which in turn, can help you make sense of
your circumstances and experience relief.
External Supervision
Support from an impartial professional
counsellor can give individuals the chance
to offload; space and time to reflect: an
opportunity to consider causes of stress at
work and a chance to look forward.
Sessions can be weekly, monthly or as
needed (usually 6-8 sessions per year)
and are led by your particular needs.
Examples of topics that might be brought
to a supervision session:
99 Workplace relationships causing
friction and distress
99 Managing others
99 Managing change
99 Work-life balance
99 Work-related activities causing stress
or discomfort
99 Personal challenges which clash with
workplace responsibilities
99 Improving performance and wellbeing
How Can External Supervision
Help Me?
A majority of us can benefit from finding
someone who provides objectivity when
working through workplace challenges
or reflecting on issues of personal
development. External Supervision offers
support in a confidential setting, away
from the workplace. Being in a neutral
environment often facilitates perspective
and creativity, leading to insights that can
help us move through challenges and/or
take decisions.
