offering counselling services to the
community. We have been in operation
for over twenty years and have a

arrangements with companies and
organisations through our Workplace
Counselling Programme, Confidential
Conversations, which employees can
access as needed.
Businesses who choose to use
Confidential Conversations’ Workplace
Counselling Programme contribute
to the wider aims of CrossReach
Counselling by generating income
which enables us to offer counselling
more widely to other people in the
community, especially to those who
may otherwise be unable to afford to
pay for counselling.
CrossReach Counselling
is recognised as a service
of excellence by COSCA,

2. What Is An EAP?
An Employee Assistance Programme
(EAP) is a suite of professional services
designed to improve or maintain the
health of the workplace through a range
of supportive programming. This can
include services like counselling that offer
support to employees experiencing levels
of distress that may be affecting work
performance.
Backed by research, EAP services assume
the experience of improved personal
wellbeing will naturally lead to improved
productivity and fulfilment in one’s work
life. Our focus is to support the personal
wellbeing of each individual through our
workplace counselling services.
In addition, we support the efforts of
organisations to encourage wellbeing in
the workplace through education and
planning designed to encourage employee
participation.
