This document discusses employee absenteeism and turnover. It examines the types of leave available to employees, as well as an organization's leave policy and the purpose of leave. The objective is to analyze the reasons for and effects of employee absenteeism. The study has limitations due to time constraints and lack of information from employees. Findings indicate reasons for absenteeism include job dissatisfaction, higher studies, poor supervisor relations, and personal issues. Recommendations to address absenteeism include effective performance management, talent development, manager support, and promoting organizational values. The conclusion is that reducing absenteeism requires a good leave policy to minimize work interruptions.
