Bezoek aluminium fabriek ALCOA

Climate change challenge us to review our life style specially on patterns of energy use. Excessiveness in energy uses makes energy management not optimal.
We can handle it very easy, by doing little things following, so much energy can be saved for our future sustainability.
Your home is the largest investment of your life. Apart from buying a house, you have to maintain the house which involves cost on a regular basis.
Besides the initial cost, a home is a series of operating systems that use energy and by taking care of those systems in a proper manner you can save much of the cost. Your cost gets multiplied if the systems aren’t efficient, or if your home is over 10 years old, then perhaps you should think of updating those systems. New generations of Energy Star appliances, heating and air/systems, and environmentally friendly insulation can bring your cost down to a great extent.
Most of the energy savings can be initiated with simple upgradation of appliances. The initial cost of upgrading may be on the high side but you can save a lot once you own an energy efficient home.
When it comes to home renovation, the pollution caused by it should also be kept in mind. Hence, if you want to keep saving the home and environment from pollutions, then you must understand eco-friendly renovations. Here we have explained 10 one of the most effective eco-friendly renovation tips, which will not only help you keep protecting the environment from pollution but also cost-saving through your energy bills.
Choice Roof Contractors are serious about saving you money and protecting our environment! The roofing systems we use have earned the government’s ENERGY STAR® certification.
The owners of Shirey Handyman, Donna and Riley Shirey are building a Zero Energy Demonstration Home on the shores of Lake Sammamish. Shirey Contracting Inc. is the builder. The Shirey\'s have been building with green and sustainable ideals before it had the name of "Green Building" and can now showcase their work in this wonderful home while educating the public.
Students are to imagine they are an architect in the year 2051. Due to natural disasters and heavy pollution, they need to design an eco-friendly house and justify the reasons for the building.

This is my inquiry on ecological buildings. For this we had to do a big question and three little questions to back up our main idea.
We did this topic in term two.
I really enjoyed doing this topic and i learnt lots about ecological buildings.
Skylights add a significant amount more of sunlight to a house than a traditional window. In rooms, where a window may not be feasible, a skylight can be a great solution. But, in order to gain all the benefits of a skylight without any potential drawbacks, it's best to consult experts in this field and have it installed properly and professionally.

Epistemic Interaction - tuning interfaces to provide information for AI supportAlan Dix
Paper presented at SYNERGY workshop at AVI 2024, Genoa, Italy. 3rd June 2024
https://alandix.com/academic/papers/synergy2024-epistemic/
As machine learning integrates deeper into human-computer interactions, the concept of epistemic interaction emerges, aiming to refine these interactions to enhance system adaptability. This approach encourages minor, intentional adjustments in user behaviour to enrich the data available for system learning. This paper introduces epistemic interaction within the context of human-system communication, illustrating how deliberate interaction design can improve system understanding and adaptation. Through concrete examples, we demonstrate the potential of epistemic interaction to significantly advance human-computer interaction by leveraging intuitive human communication strategies to inform system design and functionality, offering a novel pathway for enriching user-system engagements.

GDG Cloud Southlake #33: Boule & Rebala: Effective AppSec in SDLC using Deplo...James Anderson
Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).
Speakers:
Bob Boule
Robert Boule is a technology enthusiast with PASSION for technology and making things work along with a knack for helping others understand how things work. He comes with around 20 years of solution engineering experience in application security, software continuous delivery, and SaaS platforms. 2. Marble Roof
I used marble for my roof
because it is a cold rock. By that
it will cool the house down
when the weather is hot.
3. Solar Panel
Energy is the most
important thing for a
house, so I used Solar
Panel. It generates the
house without using
any energy, because it
gets energy from the
sun.
4. Eco-friendly wall/ bamboo
wall
I used it as an
divider for the car
porch, because it is
and greenery and
it helps us give
oxygen by
breathing in our
carbon dioxide.
5. Solar Car
The solar car is same as
an solar panel use to
generate the house, but
the different is it is a
vehicle. All vehicle
uses battery to start the
car, so I decided to use
the car is more a eco-
friendly way, so I use a
solar car instead of car.
A solar car is a car that
gets energy from the
sun.
6. Tinted Glass Ceiling
I use tinted glass ceiling
because it brighten up
the house in the
morning. I made the
glass tinted to make the
house less hot when the
weather is hot. And of
course, at night lights
will be generated from
the solar panel.
7. Water Tank/ Decoration
A house also needs
water for
drinking, washing
and others. My eco-
friendly house get
water from rain
water, the rain
water will be
collected in an
water tank, it is
also a decoration to
my house because
it looks different to
others.
