Either/Or, Neither/Nor
Here are some rules to
remember when using
neither/nor or either/or.
Either = can be this OR that
Neither = can NOT be this
and also NOT that.
We often use neither with 'nor’
• Neither Alan nor Natalie drive a race car.
• Neither the boy nor the girls are coming to the play.
• Be careful not to use neither with another negative e.g.
I don’t want neither chocolate nor chips.WRONG !
• I want neither chocolate nor chips.  RIGHT 
We cannot have a double negative!
• Either is used with 'or' e.g.

• Do you want either chocolate or crisps?
• Either Tom or George must wash the dishes.
• Choose the correct pair (either / or , neither / nor).
