This document discusses the concept of shared space and coproduction. It provides definitions for professional space, public space, and shared space. Coproduction can only happen in shared space, where everyone is on equal terms and works together rather than one party involving the other. Some key aspects of shared space and coproduction are having a shared language, equal access to information, and ensuring no one feels like an outsider. The document promotes an organization called Barod that can help other groups learn how to run effective shared space meetings.
This document summarizes work on developing a microstructure-sensitive constitutive model for machining applications. The current work involves developing a unified model that incorporates phenomenological laws to describe microstructure evolution during large plastic deformation and high strain rates, as in machining. The model has been calibrated using available data and validated through orthogonal cutting tests on commercially pure titanium, though further microscopy and characterization are still needed. Future work aims to better characterize grain size in machined titanium and extend the model to dual-phase titanium alloys.
Bushfires in southeast Australia are becoming more frequent and intense due to climate change. This poses major threats to the native flora and fauna. While bushfire is a natural occurrence and some species rely on it, very frequent or intense fires can negatively impact many species and ecosystems. Many plants and animals are at serious risk of extinction if bushfire patterns are not managed sustainably. Citizens need to raise awareness of these issues and volunteer their time and support to help with habitat restoration and species recovery efforts.

Software maintenance is the modification of a software product after delivery to correct faults, improve performance, or add attributes. Maintenance is needed to address new requirements, hidden bugs, and performance weaknesses over time. Maintenance is based on customer feedback and can involve bug fixes, performance enhancements, adaptations to new hardware/software, preventative improvements to maintainability and reliability, or reengineering/refactoring parts of the code. When software is left with design flaws without maintenance, it becomes vulnerable to exploits, errors, crashes, and data issues.

The document discusses how music has powerful positive impacts on the brain and body. It summarizes that music is fun, relaxing and motivating. It then explains several ways that music impacts us: it taps into our emotions and memories, helps with attention and learning, is a social experience, and our brains like its predictability. The document then introduces Harmonica Huddle, an innovative team building program that uses music to develop teamwork skills and values like collaboration, communication, creativity and more. Over 500 participants have provided positive feedback on how Harmonica Huddle was a unique, engaging and effective learning experience.
This document discusses the parallels between leadership and music. It argues that leadership, like music, is an art that inspires and mentors others. Both musicians and leaders must innovate, adapt to new technologies, and utilize available resources efficiently while dealing with constant change. The document also examines how musicians and leaders must evaluate their own performance and get feedback in order to improve. It explores how leadership programs that use music as a metaphor can provide insights into developing strengths and performing under pressure.
Howard Gardner introduced the theory of multiple intelligences which posits that intelligence exists in several different forms rather than solely as a single general ability. The document outlines Gardner's theory which identifies eight types of intelligence: linguistic, logical-mathematical, spatial, bodily-kinesthetic, musical, interpersonal, intrapersonal, and naturalist. It provides examples of how each type of intelligence is demonstrated and suggests that teachers should recognize students' varied strengths by incorporating lessons that engage different intelligences. The document also provides study tips for students to utilize their varied intelligences through visual, auditory, physical and other sensory-engaged techniques.
The document provides guidance and examples of creative facilitation techniques for workshops. It discusses the role of a facilitator as guiding discussion rather than lecturing. Several icebreaker, energizer, and group formation exercises are described in detail, with tips for adapting them based on culture and workshop goals. The overall message is that facilitation requires planning fun, engaging activities to create a comfortable learning environment and maximize participant involvement and enjoyment.

This document discusses Understanding by Design (UbD), a framework for planning curriculum and lessons. UbD is a backwards design approach where educators first identify the desired results and then plan learning experiences to achieve those goals. The document provides examples of how UbD could be applied to a music lesson, including identifying learning objectives, incorporating the six facets of understanding, and designing activities to hook students and allow for feedback and revision.
This document discusses leadership strategies for great teaching. It emphasizes the importance of collaborative planning, using data and feedback to inform teaching and learning, and developing teachers through professional learning. Some key points:
1. Collaborative planning is important because teaching is complex and should focus on planning learning rather than just lessons.
2. Assessment should support teaching and learning by helping to close the gap between students' current and expected levels. It needs to be meaningful, manageable, and raise aspirations.
3. Using data and feedback informs teaching and learning. The main goal of assessment should be improving student learning.
4. Developing teachers through professional learning such as collaborative planning, micro lesson observations, and formative
Understanding by Design (UbD) is a framework for planning curriculum and instruction that begins with the end goal in mind. The key aspects are determining the essential learnings, establishing acceptable evidence of student understanding, and designing lessons and activities to achieve the desired results. UbD focuses on developing students' understanding through complex tasks that require them to explain, interpret, apply, shift perspectives, empathize, and self-assess their learning. Lessons are planned backwards from the desired results and incorporate activities that help students achieve the specified outcomes.

How to Manage Reception Report in Odoo 17Celine George
A business may deal with both sales and purchases occasionally. They buy things from vendors and then sell them to their customers. Such dealings can be confusing at times. Because multiple clients may inquire about the same product at the same time, after purchasing those products, customers must be assigned to them. Odoo has a tool called Reception Report that can be used to complete this assignment. By enabling this, a reception report comes automatically after confirming a receipt, from which we can assign products to orders.

2. Definition of Leadership
“Social influence on mission
accomplishment. Getting effective
cooperation of other people and to
harness the resources provided by
that cooperation to the attainment
of a goal.”
3. Definition of “to Conduct”
Conduct comes from the Latin word
conducere which means to lead
together.
In Webster’s dictionary, the word is
defined as: “to direct the course of, or
to guide, to lead.”
4. So how do we lead and guide our students?

Kathleen A. Foord and Jean M. Haar, Professional Learning
Communities: An Implementation Guide and Toolkit (New
York: Routledge, 2008), 104.
5. Goal Setting - SMART
• Specific:
– Should be shared with the
choir
– Define desired result
– Avoid using terms like “more”,
“better”, “lots”, etc.

– Make sure results are
attainable
– Challenge enough to
encourage growth

9. So how do we
become
“SMART”er in
our choral
rehearsals?
11. Successful Rehearsals
• Qualities of Excellent Rehearsals:
– Appropriate music selection
– Score preparation
– Rehearsal time is well planned
– Stimulating, exciting, and creative rehearsals
15. 4 Distinct Traits of SMART Rehearsals
• Direction
• Duration
• Maximum Intensity
• Would be success
Set Time
Duration (time)
Direction 61.8%
Intensity
16. Motivation!
• A traditional 60-minute rehearsal:
– Warm-ups (1+2+3 minutes)
– First musical composition (5 minutes)
– Second composition (8 minutes)
– Third composition (13 minutes)
– Fourth Composition (21 minutes)
– Final selection (8 minutes)
• All of these can be broken down to
their own Fibonacci numbers.
17. For Further Success
• Have empathy with your singers
• Try to solve problems with gesture rather
than words
• Plan those rehearsals
• Be a “Team Leader”1
• Cultivate “Exemplary Followers”1

19. Twelve Roadblocks to Mutual Learning
•Ordering, commanding,

•Warning and threatening
•Moralizing or preaching
•Advising or offering
solutions
•Persuading with logic
•Judging, criticizing,
disagreeing, blaming
•Praising, agreeing (i.e.

•Name-calling, ridiculing
•Interpreting, analyzing,
