The Ekiti Enterprise Development Agency 2012 Work Plan outlines 14 key projects to implement that year to empower youth, develop businesses and industries, and generate employment and revenue for the state. The projects include empowering 1000 youths through business training, mapping local enterprises, establishing industrial parks and distribution centers, and setting up cashew, cassava and steel processing factories. The overall goals are to attract investors, promote entrepreneurship, and harness local economic opportunities to create jobs for Ekiti residents.
