This document provides an outline for the EE337 Microprocessors Lab course. The course objectives are to understand and develop applications for the 8051 microcontroller and complement the Microprocessor theory course. Students will gain skills in developing, simulating, and debugging programs using an IDE, and writing assembly and embedded C programs to interface peripherals like LCDs and keypads. Prerequisites include digital circuits and systems courses. Labs will make up 60% of the grade, with assignments and a project accounting for the rest. The course will use an online platform and kits containing development boards will be provided to students.
