Edward Noonan Ney joined Young & Rubicam advertising agency in 1951 and eventually became Emeritus Chairman, taking decisions like acquiring other agencies and developing the "Whole Egg" Strategy. He was a mass communication expert who advocated for integrated communication approaches. Edward also served as a visionary businessman on the boards of Mattel and Power Corporation of Canada, helping them during times of turmoil. Additionally, he served as the U.S. Ambassador to Canada from 1989 to 1992, helping to expand the U.S.-Canada Free Trade Agreement to include Mexico.
