The first thing you learn when you become the parent of
more than one child, is no two children are the same. Some
children come out of the womb and seemingly know what
they want and how to express it, while others have great
difficultly articulating what they want or need.

Recognize yourself, if your are good at home you can also
be good at school or any where else. Start taking interest in
the environment wherever you are. But avoid bad

WHY ARE STUDENTS FAILING?
P o o r t i m e m a n a g e m e n t s k i l l s a n d
p r o c r a s t i n a t i o n .
‱ Most teachers know when a student has rushed through a project or essay.
Students who routinely wait until the last minute to complete assignments
will submit substandard efforts and achieve poor performance on exams.
An inability to complete tasks.
‱ A student that can be too quick to give up or put off difficult task until it
becomes impossible to complete fails
‱ Procrastination can also lead to stress and anxiety, making it impossible to
complete the task and setting up a pattern for future melt-downs
sg obaje, anatomy department, ae-funai 6
WHY ARE STUDENTS
FAILING?
‱ Environment does not encourage self confidence
‱ A lack of self-esteem or confidence can prevent a
student from building on his or her strengths. Too
much confidence can prevent a student from
acknowledging and improving on weaknesses. For
some students, the very thought of not being able
to succeed is enough to stop them from attempting
at all.

UNFRIENDLY ENVIRONMENTS
Reliance on others
‱ Develop academic independence and accountability
from the moment you enter school. Each student
must know he or she is responsible for their own
learning

‱ Completing all tasks and assignments
‱ Bringing the right books and equipment to every
class
‱ Taking everything home each night.

BEST ENVIRONMENT FOR
STUDENTS
Lack of desire
‱ Many students are underachievers; although capable of
completing their school work, they lack the initiative or motivation
to succeed
‱ These students that can do the work, are highly intelligent, but
have decided that there are other things that are more important.

WHEN YOU LISTEN TO SELF
‱ Read the story of Abraham Lincoln and APJ Abdul kalam. You will
definitely be able to defeat your own fear and depressions. You failures
will be less than the failures and huge success of these legends
(Actually they were also alike us). Try to listen to your inner soul and
have faith

Success is sure
 learn from your mistake and try not to do it again
 study day after day and never skip your important classes
 don't be afraid to ask your teacher something you didn't
understand. Remember he's there to help you
 don't count on what you have learned at school, do your own
research on the internet. Your teacher will try to help you
fishing not how you will going to eat the fish
 study with a group of friends
 organize your work. Put a plan and stick to it.
