When the mother and the child touch, the level of oxytocin rises which makes the mothers want to be close with the child almost all of the time. ( Craig, 2021).
Amanda lives with her two parents but most of the time she spends with her mother when the father is at work. The father doesn’t get much time with the child because most of the time he finds her asleep. The father's involvement in the first stages of the child is increased. The father would take off from work just to spend time with the child. In the first stages of child development, fatherhood and motherhood are as deep. The more the father spends time with the baby, the more the and becomes strong. There are times when the mother goes to work and the father is left to take care of the baby. The mother usually takes primary care of the child. When Amanda cries, the mother is the first to take her. The mother is more vigilant in taking care of the baby than the father. Amanda is very noisy and likes to scream. To distract her, the caregiver has to use something noisy. The curiosity of Amanda is stimulated by the parents to enhance the coordination of the hands and the eyes. Hi my name is Gloria, I am sixty three years old, and I plan to graduate in October of 2016 with a Bachelor degree in Organization Manager. I have taken my entire course for my degree I am working on my elective course so I decided to take a minor in child hood development. I thought that it would be a good course since I have work with children all my life, raising ten children and only three from nature birth. I now work with Garland independent school district and come in contact with children every day. I community with people through knowledge, everyone come to me for advice, I listen to everyone problem and try to give the best advice possible and if I don’t have the answer we try to investigate and come up with the right one. I love helping people in any way that I could, planning on retiring from my job that I have been on for seventeen years with the school. After I retire if I have to go back to work I am leaning toward benign school counselor or an adviser working with children. That is if God allow me to do it.

We are born with the capacity to make 40 sounds and our genetics allows our brain to make associations between sounds and objects, actions, or ideas. The combination of these capabilities allows the creation of language. Sounds come to have meaning. The babbling sound "ma - ma - ma" of the infant becomes mama, and then mother. In the first years of life children listen, practice, and learn. The amusing sounds of a young toddler practicing language (in seemingly meaningless chatter) are really their modeling of the rhythm, tone, volume, and non-verbal expressions they see in us.
Language -with all of its magnificent complexity- is one of the greatest gifts we give our children. Yet, we so often treat our verbal communication with children in a casual way. It is a misconception that children learn language passively. Language acquisition is a product of active, repetitive, and complex learning. The child's brain is learning and changing more during language acquisition in the first six years of life than during any other cognitive ability he is working to acquire. It is difficult to remember the first word spoken, as we are babies and we are unable to
remember any incidents. But my mother told me that I said, “mama”. Thus, this is the first
word I spoke. After which I learned “papa” and my mother helped me to learn new words
that were simple and amusing to hear. When new-born we hear and recognize all types of
sounds in all that is spoken to us. We try to learn it and grasp it trying to know how it is
spoken (Saxton, 2017). Babies discover which sounds are associated with the newly gained
speaking skill. Phonemic awareness refers to the ability to detect and create such sounds,
which is essential for youngsters learning to read.
The word Mama and papa are very common as they both represent the closest person. A
mom is almost every time near to the child and the child gets very attached to them. The
parent plays with them and this makes them learn the word to call their parents. The babies
love to grasp new words, environment, or sights they are all-time active to see things, feel
them, and understand what is near them. The best way to learn is to teach them one by one
new words, the babies also intend to repeat the same word all day all the month (Clark, &
Casillas, 2015). They keep repeating the newly learned word or phrase every time they hear
it. I heard the cousin of mine learning a new phrase “ what up my sunshine” and this was
repeated the whole day till evening. Whenever I visited her, she would say this to me, she
would say this to everyone she loved. They love to mimic others and this is a very normal
process for them to learn.
The easiest strategy to encourage language development in new born is to just talk to them.
Babies learn through listening to their environment, therefore the more language infants
are engaged to, the smarter. A baby can respond to the rhythm of words or language. A child
of young age can recognize stress, the pitch of any conversation. Sound awareness refers to
the ability to detect and create such sounds, which is essential for youngsters learning to
read. The babies love to speak new words. They also gain the ability to distinguish between
other noise and language sounds (Golinkoff et al., 2015). They can differentiate between a
clap and a sound from the mouth. Cooing, babbling is the early sign of learning a language.
Talk to them like you should in a discussion, listening for them to react before responding
with what they believe they will say. It should be noted, that merely talking to babies
