This document outlines Burlington High School's plan to embrace social media and mobile devices in the classroom. It discusses how 21st century students need experience with technological tools used in and out of the classroom to learn about technology and through technology. The Common Core State Standards and NASSP also support integrating skills related to analyzing and producing media. The school's plan involves steps outlined on Patrick Larkin's website to launch the use of 1,000 iPads like a school that successfully implemented a large iPad rollout.
