Quality control is vital to every industry. This is why every department in a company need create a method they use in ensuring quality. This, perhaps, will not only improve the quality of products and bring errors to the barest minimum, but take it to a near perfect finish.
It is beyond a moot point that a good book will somewhat be judged by its cover, but the content of the book remains king. No matter how beautiful the cover, if the quality of writing or presentation is off, that will be a reason for readers not to come back to the book or recommend it.
So, this presentation points designers to some important things that may be missed by an editor that they could eventually discover and call the attention of the editor.

2. For the opening of our documentary, we sped up the duration of the clip of the sun going
down behind the church and created a time lapse. We sped it up by 700% on this
particular clip.
3. For this particular clip of the boy running down the corridor, the voice over is talking about
the bewildering dream experiences people can have, therefore we wanted this clip to have
a mysterious feel to it, and exenterate the feeling that the boy is running away from
something in his dream. Therefore we selected the effect control and added the following
to this scene; -0.033 echo time and a decay to give the clip more shadow.
4. We added a name banner at the beginning of each interview to inform our audience of who
is talking on the screen and their relation to dreams or their profession. We added this by
inserting a graphic box to have a clear base, next we used the text tools to add the writing,
we changed the font, size and colour of the text to make it look professional. We also added
transitions to the name banners to make the entrance smoother.
5. We added our 30 seconds of archive material by importing and downloading it from
youtube using computerhope.com, we then zoomed in to change the positioning and
the scale of the video so it would fit in with proportion to the screen.
6. Throughout our documentary we added a various amount of soundbed and sound
effects to keep the audience entertained. We lowered the sound levels on the music
when one of our interviewee’s appeared on screen so the music would not overpower
the interview. We had three audio sections, the first one was the voiceover and the
speech of the interviewee’s, the second was the music bed for the documentary and the
third was any sound effects we had included.
