Effective communication is important for the success of any business. Executive summary
Internal communication is an essential tool to inform the staff and members of activities in the organization. The main objective of any organization is building a good internal communication strategy. So as to be able to assess the effective mode of communication that the company is using, you need to do an assessment and also conduct an audit on the organization. It is vital since it helps in getting support from the staff. It also provides a good and efficient workplace with great collaboration.
This diagram illustrates what encompasses business communication in an organization. Introduction
Board members of the Naval Surface Warfare Center saw it necessary to come up with a communication audit committee to make a report on communication for the organization. The main purpose of the report was to seek for facts and also opinions and come up with recommendations to improve external and internal communication in the organization. Effective communication is a tool that enhances efficiency in the company. The primary source of my information was based on questionnaires which were given out to ten members of the organization. Below are the results obtained from the questionnaires.

Part 1: According to the Sarin and O’Connor (2009) article, certain style and goal structures of team leaders have a strong influence on internal team dynamics. Part 2: DeRue, Barnes, and Morgeson (2010) found that team leadership style effectiveness depended on the level of charisma exhibited by the leader. Drawing from the article and the textbook, have you ever worked for a charismatic leader? What style (coaching or directing) did that leader administer? Part 1:
Participative leadership style would have been the best management style for our team which was working on a project to improve our e-commerce platform. With participative leadership style, team leaders have an opportunity to involve their team members in the decision-making process, consult their team members and ask for their inputs. Participative leadership generates a special type of trust that enables team members to take ownership and the responsibility of the project outcomes (DeRue et al., 2010).
An effective team management style has much impact on the internal dynamics of a team. Communication behaviors, collaboration and conflict resolution strategies are the key elements of the internal dynamics of a team. Communication involves the exchange of information between individuals working in a team. High communication quality and frequency have been associated with greater team performance and productivity. Collaboration is the extent to which individuals within a team work together to accomplish a particular task. Since a team is made of individuals with different perspectives and functional backgrounds, the probability of conflict is very high hence the need to incorporate conflict resolution strategies (DeRue et al., 2010).
Part 2:
According to (Sarin & O'Connor, 2009), a charismatic leader is the one who uses personal abilities to induce extraordinary influence on his followers. They are skilled at upgrading the performance of the team and seek radical reforms to accomplish the goals efficiently. I have been working for a charismatic leader for two years now.
He has been effective in leading our team since we promptly meet the goals and objectives of our team. Also, team members have high emotional attachment and involvement with him. Lastly, we experience high job satisfaction which is much essential in developing an effective team. This results in low-stress levels and low job burn out since members of the team have an opportunity to work by themselves without micro-managing.

Introduction
Effective communication is important for the success of any business. According to statistical reports from Forbes, the corporate with the best communication tools achieve their objectives easily as compared to businesses with poor communication. Consequently, the aim of this presentation is to help business managers to understand the usage of effective communication tools to improve communication to all the stakeholders in the organizations. Although the basic responsibility of a business manager is to motivate the employees to give out their potential, this cannot be achieved without effective communication. Executive summary
Internal communication is an essential tool to inform the staff and members of activities in the organization. The main objective of any organization is building a good internal communication strategy. So as to be able to assess the effective mode of communication that the company is using, you need to do an assessment and also conduct an audit on the organization. It is vital since it helps in getting support from the staff. It also provides a good and efficient workplace with great collaboration.
This diagram illustrates what encompasses business communication in an organization. Introduction
Board members of the Naval Surface Warfare Center saw it necessary to come up with a communication audit committee to make a report on communication for the organization. The main purpose of the report was to seek for facts and also opinions and come up with recommendations to improve external and internal communication in the organization. Effective communication is a tool that enhances efficiency in the company. The primary source of my information was based on questionnaires which were given out to ten members of the organization. Below are the results obtained from the questionnaires.

Part 2: DeRue, Barnes, and Morgeson (2010) found that team leadership style effectiveness depended on the level of charisma exhibited by the leader. Drawing from the article and the textbook, have you ever worked for a charismatic leader? What style (coaching or directing) did that leader administer? Part 1:
Participative leadership style would have been the best management style for our team which was working on a project to improve our e-commerce platform. With participative leadership style, team leaders have an opportunity to involve their team members in the decision-making process, consult their team members and ask for their inputs. Participative leadership generates a special type of trust that enables team members to take ownership and the responsibility of the project outcomes (DeRue et al., 2010).
An effective team management style has much impact on the internal dynamics of a team. Communication behaviors, collaboration and conflict resolution strategies are the key elements of the internal dynamics of a team. Communication involves the exchange of information between individuals working in a team. High communication quality and frequency have been associated with greater team performance and productivity. Collaboration is the extent to which individuals within a team work together to accomplish a particular task. Since a team is made of individuals with different perspectives and functional backgrounds, the probability of conflict is very high hence the need to incorporate conflict resolution strategies (DeRue et al., 2010).
Part 2:
According to (Sarin & O'Connor, 2009), a charismatic leader is the one who uses personal abilities to induce extraordinary influence on his followers. They are skilled at upgrading the performance of the team and seek radical reforms to accomplish the goals efficiently. I have been working for a charismatic leader for two years now.
He has been effective in leading our team since we promptly meet the goals and objectives of our team. Also, team members have high emotional attachment and involvement with him. Lastly, we experience high job satisfaction which is much essential in developing an effective team. This results in low-stress levels and low job burn out since members of the team have an opportunity to work by themselves without micro-managing.

I previously worked within a private University system that holds several locations throughout the country. The school holds a reputation of social progress via education; additionally, its mission is closely aligned with environmental justice. While the specializations vary by campus, the most highly enrolled programs were those pertaining to ecology, sustainability, and environmental studies. The University’s mission is to, “provide learner-centered education to empower students with the knowledge and skills to lead meaningful lives and to advance social, economic, and environmental justice.” Unfortunately, like many institutions of higher education, the University was struggling to remain financially solvent. Over a 10 year period, the school’s flagship location in the Midwest, which almost exclusively offered masters-level programs in education, saw nearly a 70% enrollment decline after their state changed requirements for educators within their state.
In an attempt to expand on program offers and ultimately increase enrollment, the University was researching industries expected to see growth, and program offerings that would create pathways to those industries. After months of research, the president of the University held a town hall to share out the task force’s findings, as well as next-steps in imagining new programs. Of primary interest to the taskforce was the prospect of creating a commercial trucking school, wherein truckers could earn commercial licenses, credentials, and college credits. Upon hearing the news, staff and faculty were irate; they were disgusted that administrators would even consider such an option, when freight shipping and trucking have sizable negative impacts on the environment. Many argued that creating commercial trucking programs would be in direct opposition to the institutional mission, vision, and values.
In comparing this communication to Vaughn’s article, it seems as though University leadership demonstrated ineffective communication processes and stakeholders had lacking trust. While the institution was financially struggling, many saw this plan as a prioritization of money over educational imperatives. As shared by Vaughn, “It’s always best policy to start with the truth and then you don’t have to worry about covering a lie.” (2012, p. 5). While the executive team didn’t outright lie to stakeholders, many saw the initiative as being disingenuous to institutional values. The communication was overall ineffective because leadership failed to consider stakeholder opinions and weren’t successful in drafting a plan that aligned with the institutional mission. Because the communication approach was top-down, it failed to consider or integrate the opinions of staff or faculty. Had executive leadership have invited the perspectives of stakeholders earlier in the process, they may have saved time and the emotional energy of employees.

I'll be grading your TD participation hopefully on Monday and then I'll work on your literature review assignments starting on Tuesday. This is a more extensive assignment and I have assignments due in other courses so it might take me a little longer to get your lit reviews back. I'm anticipating some excellent literature review on your great CGE topics 😎. Let's take a look at what lies ahead in week 4...
Introduction
In week 4, the lesson title is "Communication in Project Management" and we'll be addressing the following course outcomes:
CO #1: Apply leadership skills of project management as a nurse executive in an organizational setting to develop, implement, and evaluate successful project plans (PO 4,5)
CO #3: Exemplify professional values and scholarship that support the role of a student in a practicum setting (PO 4) (this is in reference to your time at your practicum site and you'll see this each week)
CO #5: Apply professional values characteristic of the competent and caring nurse executive that promotes holistic care principles and an appreciation of cultural humility (PO 1,3,4)
I encourage you to keep these course outcomes in mind while you read your text, articles, and lessons, as you participate in TDs, as you participate in practicum hours, and as you complete assignments.
Reading:
Your week 4 reading consists of three articles from peer reviewed journals. Two would be considered "scholarly" by Chamberlain definition as they are within five years old. The Culo article is from 2010 but it's a very good article so I decided to keep it. Please be sure to read these articles prior to constructing your initial TD post.
Lesson:
This week's lesson is about communication and building a communication plan. One point the lesson brings out is that, like most of the templates we are using, many organizations have their own formats or templates. I encourage you to reach out to the PM professionals in your organization and ask about this and compare our template to what you use in your organization. If your organization doesn't use a communication plan, it may be something you can suggest as a value added step.

LAND USE LAND COVER AND NDVI OF MIRZAPUR DISTRICT, UP
This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
help of Advanced technologies like Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems is

Our Sorority: Alpha Phi on Clemson University’s Campus We currently have 232 members ranging from Freshman to Seniors Since we are such a large group, it is difficult to always communicate effectively As officers switch out each year, documents are lost in transition and communication becomes lost With effective media tools, our officers could communicate more effectively with each other and the entire chapter!
- 3. Reasons for Collaboration Collaboration is imperative to the success of any organization Without positive collaboration there is little hope for growth within the organization that we have dedicated so much time and effort If the officers in our organization do not collaborate well, the work that is completed during their term will not be useful for future officers With effective media tools, the officers that follow each year can continue the progress made over the previous year!
- 4. Current Problems Each year as our officers switch over and a new term begins, documents are lost and not being passed down to the incoming officers Most officers keep their department documents on their personal computers and during officer transitions documents get lost along the way If this became less of a problem, the new officers could focus more on other aspects of their departments instead of recreating documents that had been created previously
- 5. The Importance of Using Media Tools For the new officers that take over this term, we should use media tools that will allow them to collaboratively create documents The officers could work together to improve the documents that were in place so that our organization can run even more effectively They could also determine the best way to store these documents for future officers so that our organization can continue to grow To effectively collaborate as a team, it would also be beneficial for the officers to use media tools that make communication easier!
- 6. Media Tools to Be Used Google Docs The use of Google docs will allow officers within each department to collaborate on their specific events These documents will also allow executive board members to better communicate with us as an entire chapter For example: Officers can create documents for members to use when they want to sign up for events. This way officers will know who is attending and the same documents can be used year after year The best part is that it is FREE!
- 7. Media Tools to Be Used GroupMe This media tool can be used to allow officers to communicate as a group and it is much more efficient than using group text messages or email It can hold as many individuals as you want in one single group message The members of the group can also “like” other officers messages if they agree with a decision or topic discussed Example: If quick decisions and topics need to be discussed, officers can respond like text messages no matter what type of phone they have The best part is that it is FREE!
- 8. Media Tools to Be Used Basecamp This media tool allows the administrator to create different department tabs so that each department can have their own section to discuss information An officer can only view the information that is in her department and she can add documents that can be saved for use by a future officer This tool is great to collaborate on because it allows the officers to communicate in a single forum that notifies you, through email, when a new message thread has been created or a response has been posted The media tool is not free, but it is a great tool because documents can be stored so that they do not get lost in future transitions!
