allows it to stand up for easy
use. This device is for
individuals that have varying
medical impairments
NOVA CHAT 8
This communication device
is also made by Saltillo and
is portable with an 8 inch
display. It uses the same
chat software that the NOVA
chat 5 uses and its also
accessible by finger touch or
a stylus that is included. This
device can be used in the
landscape or portrait
orientation and comes with a
built in stand and handle at
the top. A fixed or hinged
keyboard is also available to
attach to the device to
dissociate the boxes on the
screen for easier use.

This communication
device is the same to the
previous two devices;
however, the screen is
10.1 inches. It is still
accessible by finger
touch or the stylus that is
included. This device can
also be used in the
landscape or portrait
orientation and has a
built in stand and handle
for easy access as well. It
also comes with the fixed
or hinged keyguard to
dissociate the boxes on
the screen.
MOBI TWO WITH EYE GAZE
ACCESS
This communication device has a 12 inch
screen and is built with a purposeful tablet
computer system and can be portable. It
supports both touch and eye gaze interaction
and can be mounted on a wheelchair, table or
any other furniture with the correct built-in stand.
A stand and mounting plate are included. This
device is designed for individuals that have ALS,
aphasia, cerebral palsy or Rhett Syndrome,
along with other conditions, and it helps them
communicate on a daily basis.
Patients that use this device are able to
communicate by facing the device and choosing
what they want to say from the word tiles that
are listed on the page. By placing their eyes
over their word choices, the computer system
can compile their sentences or phrases so they
are able to communicate their daily needs and
wants.

This communication device
is made by Tobii and is 10.15
inches by 7.67 inches. it is
portable with a touch screen
and can be carried or
mounted, depending on its
use. The vocabulary and
communication tools on the
device can be set at different
levels depending on age and
communication ability. This
device also comes with
several voice choices. It is
designed for patients that

recordings to allow patients to
communication. Each color
can have a saying or phrase
recorded and the patient can
communicate by choosing the
button and best suits what
they are trying to say. The
recordings can be changed to
fit the needs for
communication during
therapy or everyday life.

These therapy communication boards
can be created to fit the needs of an
individual patient. They are used to
address various topics and allow for
easy use by the patient. On this
communication board, the patient
could discuss his or her body parts
and animal sounds by moving the
various pieces around the board. If
asked about which body parts hurt a
patient could move the piece that
depicts the body part that hurts. For
the animal sounds, if a therapist asks
which animal makes a certain sound,
the patient can choose the picture of
the animal that correlates to the
question asked.
