9. ECLIPSE IDE
Eclipse is an integrated development
environment (IDE) used in computer
programming. It contains a base workspace
and an extensible plug-in system for
customizing the environment. It is the second-
most-popular IDE for Java development, and,
until 2016, was the most popular.
It provides the workspace in which user can
bundle all the projects in single workspace. In
that single workspace the source files, artifacts,
images all can be stored in the workspace. The
user has the complete functionality to select
the name of workspace and manage the
projects in single workspace.
Currently used version of eclipse is 4.24.
Eclipse uses plug-ins to provide all the
functionality within and on top of the run-time
system.
