An e-twinning project about the European Union

About the project:
It is common to hear that people have short memories. Young people ignore historical
facts that have marked the lives of millions of people. Do not ignore the past to better
understand the present is a positive idea. After the Second World War, Europe became a
place of freedom, solidarity and cooperation.
Encouraging intercultural dialogue among young people from different countries can give
them a better understanding of everything that surroundsthem and, consequently, lead to
a more cooperative and supportive future society.
In addition, Dr. Carsten Witt, who is now 76 years old, has recently started walking across
Europe from Lisbon to Tallin. Along the way he will contact people from different countries
sharing ideas about Europe as a place of peace, freedom, cooperation and solidarity.
"InEuropewehavethechanceof creating a society which is basedupon positiveexperiences
and which doesn´t derive its existence because of the threat of war and destruction.
In this project we
created padlets on
the e-twinning
platform. Each
Padlet has a
motivational
question about
Europe and pupils
posted their ideas
there. They also
researched historical
facts and related
them with that issue.
To sum up,
encouraging
intercultural dialogue among young people from different countries
promote the debate by encouraging young people to present their points of view on current
issues and their possible connection with past events in Europe.
In a few words European students shared ideas and knowledge.

Young people ignore historical facts that have marked the lives of millions of people. Do not ignore the past to better understand the present is a positive idea. After the Second World War, Europe became a place of freedom, solidarity and cooperation. Encouraging intercultural dialogue among young people from different countries can give them a better understanding of everything that surroundsthem and, consequently, lead to a more cooperative and supportive future society. In addition, Dr. Carsten Witt, who is now 76 years old, has recently started walking across Europe from Lisbon to Tallin. Along the way he will contact people from different countries sharing ideas about Europe as a place of peace, freedom, cooperation and solidarity. "InEuropewehavethechanceof creating a society which is basedupon positiveexperiences and which doesn´t derive its existence because of the threat of war and destruction. In this project we created padlets on the e-twinning platform. Each Padlet has a motivational question about Europe and pupils posted their ideas there. They also researched historical facts and related them with that issue. To sum up, encouraging intercultural dialogue among young people from different countries promote the debate by encouraging young people to present their points of view on current issues and their possible connection with past events in Europe. In a few words European students shared ideas and knowledge.
