Morris Dancers
• A Morris dance is a form of English folk dance
usually accompanied by music.
• Dancers may use handkerchiefs, wooden sticks
and hand clapping.
• They usually perform this dance on Easter Sunday.
Their clothes are usually white, with bells
below the knees, and black shoes. Their hats
are decorated with flowers.
Female Morris Dancers
• Athough it is almost exclusively a male form
of dance, women perform it as well.
