2. Class Difference
 The excavation at Mohenjodaro
indicate that different groups of people
existed in the society.
 There are two types of class by which a
society is a divided they are learned
class and commercial class .
 Learned class include priests, rulers
etc and commercial class includes
merchants etc.

3. House differences
• There were also house
differences in Harappan
society .
• The big house were meant
for the rich.

4. Dresses and fashion
 Harrapan people were also
existed in dress and fashion.
 There were upper and lower
garments for people.
 The former was worn over the
left shoulder and under the
right arm.

 Women wore a short
skirt.
 Both man and women kept
long hair and wore
jewellery like necklaces ,
bangles or girdles.
