Step 1: Choose a special event or experience to talk about. Here are some ideas:
• an important event (getting a new job, graduating, etc.)
• a special trip with your friends or family
• an event you attended (a wedding, a birthday party, etc.)
Step 2: Describe the event. What happened? Where were you? Who was you
with? Use the simple past tense to tell your story.
Step 3: Explain why this event was so special or important to you. Use adjectives
to describe feelings and opinions.
