This document presents a project on an e-farming system. The project aims to help Indian farmers sell their agricultural products online and provide information to help improve farming practices. It will allow farmers to purchase supplies directly from sellers and sell crops without relying on agents or wholesalers. The system will provide online information about crops, tools and seeds. It will help farmers increase their income and living standards by marketing crops directly to consumers.

2. INTRODUCTION
 Farming is the Prime Occupation in India , Nowadays each and everyone
are involved in farming system.
 E-farming system will help Indian farmers to make the effective cultivation
by providing up-to-date information to farmers.
 Our project will help the farmers to sell their agriculture products online
and suggest best practice in farming process.
 The E-farming system provides users and farmers to get online information
about the crops, tools, seeds etc. It enables farmers to purchase tools and
seeds directly from seller.
 Farmers can also sell their products without the help of agents
or wholesalers.

3. OBJECTIVES
 The main objective of this project is to help the farmers to perform the
agro-marketing leading to achieve success and increase in the standard of
living.
 In today’s market the famers are cheated by the Agents, leading to the
poverty. Instead they can directly sell their products and crops.
 It helps farmers to improve their productivity and profitability using the
article and blog section.
 This website will act as unique and secure way to perform agro-marketing
purchasing.
 To maintain sustainable production system.

4. CHARACTERISTICS
 Small scale farmers who belong to rural places can also make profit using
our website.
 It gives basic knowledge of computers to farmers. It helps smart farmers
to become even more smarter.
 It creates partnership with farmers and buyers.
 It enables wholesalers and retailers to expand their business.
 Farmers can even see the calendar events of when to sow and harvest the
crops.
 E-farming system provides its users and farmers to get online information
about the crops.
 Authentication is provided for the users to access the
website.

5. PROBLEM DESCRIPTION
 One of the biggest challenges of farmers in agricultural marketing is, they
cannot sell their crops directly to customers without the help of the agent
or wholesalers.
 Small scale farmers who belong to rural places make investment in
farming but, they do not get enough profit.
 Our project will overcome farmer’s problem by selling their crops directly
to the consumer without the help of agent or wholesalers.

 Farmers will earn money as per the work they have done and will not
suffer by losses.
 This website is mainly developed to replace the existing system where the
farmer has to suffer between the manufacturers and the traders.
 The User only needs basic products like a Computer and an internet
connection.
 The main motive for the project was to provide dynamic online E-farming
system to help farmers in every possible way and provide
them a stable platform where they can perform every
transaction with ease.
