The document discusses the various PEST factors that affect e-commerce. Political factors include government legislation, initiatives, and funding to support e-commerce development. Economic factors incorporate elements like economic efficiency and integration that contribute to commercial health. Social factors involve the level of IT education and training, as well as rising living standards and busy lifestyles supporting online shopping. Technological factors center around developments in information and communication technologies that make communication more efficient and economical, boosting e-commerce.
Firms in growth phase want to expand their customer base, enter new product markets and
rationalize their business. The advent of internet based electronic commerce has given them
ample opportunities do so. Although many SME's have embraced ICT and taken up e-commerce,
the adoption rate has been rather slow. Many industry analysts attribute this slow adoption rate
to the lack of awareness of e-commerce applications.

Three fintech trends revolutionizing the financial sectorjhonstonesdesigns
The financial sector is going through technological transformation. Also, the growing demand for digital services is driven by the COVID-19 pandemic is fueling the change.
There are so many initiatives designed to control the digital world that I'm struggling to keep track. There is also plenty of overlap and commonality in the issues and regulatory solutions, as well as the digital environments and problems the solutions seek to address. So I put together a few slides for ready comparison. Interesting to see what leaps out.
Electronic commerce( e- commerce) is a relatively new area of business management and information technology and is continually changing with the technological advancement. E-commerce has four driving factors- social, technological, economic, and political and impact upon a wide range of different areas.

A further observation is that in many cases these dilemmas imply a conflict between the commercial and social interests of various stakeholder groups. However, it is very difficult to draw some general conclusions about when either interest is at stake
Builders of the Digital Ecosystem: The 2013 Booz & Company Global ICT 50 StudyFlorian Gröne
In its second year, this study analyzes the top companies in the digitization ecosystem, describing which are prospering and which are not, and providing some guidance about why. Dividing them into four sectors—hardware, software, IT services, and telecom—we consider the factors that determine their influence: financial performance, portfolio strength, go-to-market footprint, and innovation and branding, as well as their strategic directions.

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is an integral part of business management now-a-day. It is inevitable for the smooth running of business irrespective of size and complexity. Due to the rapid development of ICT and its huge use in all spheres of our lives, businesses are also substantially influenced by it. Now, the resources of the businesses are primarily managed by using ICT supports that helps perform tasks faster and more accurate than before. But the developing countries are still struggling to introduce ICT supports in all areas of business management processes as the effort is substantially hindered by a strong but ineffective work culture. Therefore, to use ICT in business management we need to know the issues and challenges of it.
As Europe's leading economic powerhouse and the fourth-largest hashtag#economy globally, Germany stands at the forefront of innovation and industrial might. Renowned for its precision engineering and high-tech sectors, Germany's economic structure is heavily supported by a robust service industry, accounting for approximately 68% of its GDP. This economic clout and strategic geopolitical stance position Germany as a focal point in the global cyber threat landscape.
In the face of escalating global tensions, particularly those emanating from geopolitical disputes with nations like hashtag#Russia and hashtag#China, hashtag#Germany has witnessed a significant uptick in targeted cyber operations. Our analysis indicates a marked increase in hashtag#cyberattack sophistication aimed at critical infrastructure and key industrial sectors. These attacks range from ransomware campaigns to hashtag#AdvancedPersistentThreats (hashtag#APTs), threatening national security and business integrity.
🔑 Key findings include:
🔍 Increased frequency and complexity of cyber threats.
🔍 Escalation of state-sponsored and criminally motivated cyber operations.
🔍 Active dark web exchanges of malicious tools and tactics.
Our comprehensive report delves into these challenges, using a blend of open-source and proprietary data collection techniques. By monitoring activity on critical networks and analyzing attack patterns, our team provides a detailed overview of the threats facing German entities.
This report aims to equip stakeholders across public and private sectors with the knowledge to enhance their defensive strategies, reduce exposure to cyber risks, and reinforce Germany's resilience against cyber threats.
Techniques to optimize the pagerank algorithm usually fall in two categories. One is to try reducing the work per iteration, and the other is to try reducing the number of iterations. These goals are often at odds with one another. Skipping computation on vertices which have already converged has the potential to save iteration time. Skipping in-identical vertices, with the same in-links, helps reduce duplicate computations and thus could help reduce iteration time. Road networks often have chains which can be short-circuited before pagerank computation to improve performance. Final ranks of chain nodes can be easily calculated. This could reduce both the iteration time, and the number of iterations. If a graph has no dangling nodes, pagerank of each strongly connected component can be computed in topological order. This could help reduce the iteration time, no. of iterations, and also enable multi-iteration concurrency in pagerank computation. The combination of all of the above methods is the STICD algorithm. [sticd] For dynamic graphs, unchanged components whose ranks are unaffected can be skipped altogether.
2. Political Factors
It includes the role of government legislation, initiatives and funding to
support the use and development of e-commerce and information technology.
Several aspects of government policy can affect e-commerce business. All firms
must follow the law. Managers must find how upcoming legislations can affect their
activities. The government’s role in developing countries is an important one as it
facilitates the essential requirements for the development of E-Commerce such as
providing robust secure on-line payment options, ensuring a solid ICT
infrastructure, providing educational programs and building up awareness using
different means such as media and education institutions.
3. Economic Factors
It includes the general wealth and commercial health of the nation and the
elements that contribute to it. Economic efficiency results in the reduction of
communications costs, low-cost technological infrastructure, speedier and more
economic electronic transactions with suppliers, lower global information sharing and
advertising costs, and cheaper customer service alternatives. Economic integration is
either external or internal. External integration refers to the electronic networking of
corporations, suppliers, customers/clients, and independent contractors into one
community communicating in a virtual environment (with the Internet as medium).
Internal integration, on the other hand, is the networking of the various departments
within a corporation, and of business operations and processes. This allows critical
business information to be stored in a digital form that can be retrieved instantly and
transmitted electronically.
4. Social Factors
Incorporating the level and advancement in IT education and training which
will enable both potential buyers and the workforce to understand and use the
technology. Rising standards of living and a burgeoning, upwardly mobile middle
class with high disposable incomes, Busy lifestyles, urban traffic congestion and
lack of time for offline shopping have given boost to e-commerce. Evolution
of websites such as Flipkart, Snapdeal, ebay etc. has become a market place where
seller register with them and pays commission on every sale.
5. Technological Factors
The development of ICT is a key factor in the growth of e-commerce. It has
made communication more efficient, faster, easier, and more economical as the need
to set up separate networks for telephone services, television broadcast, cable
television, and Internet access is eliminated. Due to technological advances
economic transactions have become much easier and faster and this has given boost
to the development of e-commerce.
