LITE 2016 – Using Administrate Integrations [Aaron Bassett & Chris Beswick]getadministrate
This document summarizes integrations and APIs available for Administrate. Integrations allow consolidating multiple tools like emails, finances, marketing, and sales into a single workflow. They interact with popular applications to automate repetitive tasks. The API is more flexible but requires more technical knowledge. It allows building custom integrations for internal tools. Example workflows show integrations syncing data between Administrate and other systems, while APIs can trigger actions from external events. Q&A and additional resources are provided after the workshop.
The document proposes transforming IT support processes through automation and standardization. It aims to reduce errors, time spent on tasks, and increase consistency through automated computer builds, issue fixes, and user migrations. Improved customer communication like status updates and a portal are also proposed. Five tools are described: 1) Automated issue fixes 2) Automated computer builds 3) Automated user migrations 4) Improved customer communication and 5) Virtualization of processes through a build depot and knowledge base. The transformation is expected to significantly reduce technician times and improve the customer experience.
The Digital Media Centre is expanding its video capabilities by allowing communicators to directly upload various types of videos and images. This will streamline the upload process and increase efficiency. There are three improvements: 1) A new file transfer tool called Aspera that increases upload speeds, especially for low bandwidth areas. 2) Communicators can now directly upload assets to the DMC instead of using ShareFile as an intermediary. Standardized metadata fields and file naming conventions will be used. 3) Drop down menus will standardize asset categories to aid searching. Training and rollout will occur by the end of June.

THE INCREASING IMPORTANCE OF USER EXPERIENCE
A startling revelation has come to light during our recent assessments for Teams call quality at enterprise organizations around the world. We have found that 24% of employees using Microsoft Teams for calls and meetings will experience call quality issues every week. Most of these go unreported to the Helpdesk or IT operations, causing end-users to suffer with ongoing poor call quality. And these are rarely issues with the Microsoft cloud.
So, what is the digital experience (DX) for your employees using Teams voice? Are any of them suffering from performance problems? How do you know?
AMAZING INSIGHTS
After working with many enterprise customers over the past 18 months we have identified THREE common problems that degrade performance for end-users during Teams calls and meetings, especially those working remotely. Here are the areas where these DX issues occur:
1) Underperforming computers (CPU, memory usage, background processes, etc.)
2) Networking bandwidth slowdowns (WiFi signal strength, overloaded Routers/Switches, etc.)
3) and Cloud connection bottlenecks (ISPs, VPN routing, etc.)
Please join us for this webinar to discuss real world stories from other enterprise organizations and learn how they were able to proactively identify call quality issues and improve the DX for their Teams deployment. During the webinar you will receive an overview of OfficeExpert Endpoint Performance Monitoring (EPM). This SaaS solution provides data analytics for Microsoft Teams performance and call quality from the end-user perspective. If you want to know the truth about your Teams digital experience then you need to see how data-driven, actionable insights can identify necessary endpoint / networking enhancements and speed troubleshooting for reported issues.
What you will learn
- Proactive monitoring for the remote user digital experience
- Identifying slow ISPs causing poor call quality for remote users
- Detailed analytics that show lagging performance on endpoint devices
- And more…
TranslateKarate makes project translation simpler by extracting text from apps directly, allowing collaboration with translators in multiple formats without needing to change software projects. Automation Keys: What They Are and Why You Should Use ThemSafe Software
Building Automations in FME Server can save time, money, and helps businesses scale by eliminating data silos and providing data to stakeholders in real-time. One essential component to orchestrating complex Automations is the use of keys. In fact, it’s unlikely you’ll ever build an Automation without using keys of some sort, but what exactly are they?
Keys enable the Automation Author to pass data values from one Automation component to the next. During this webinar, our FME Server Support Specialists Holly Coxon and Mark Warren will take a deep dive into the world of keys; Event, Global & User. As a bonus, they’ll also be making use of the new Split-Merge Block functionality.
You’ll leave this webinar with a better understanding of how to maximize the potential of Automations by making use of these keys, with the ultimate goal of setting your enterprise integration workflows up on autopilot.
What's New in the June Release?

Using Dell ProDeploy Plus for Infrastructure can improve deployment times for...Principled Technologies
Save valuable in-house admin time by using a Dell Technologies-certified engineer for installation and configuration of a Dell solution
New data center resources can be great for your critical workloads and applications, but deploying those resources can burden IT staff. Organizations adding Dell Technologies solutions to their data center can use the deployment service Dell ProDeploy Plus for Infrastructure to simplify deployment and save time.
We found that Dell ProDeploy Plus:
• Planned the deployment with minimal input from our in-house staff, which freed them up to focus on
organizational demands and other strategic initiatives during deployment
• Reduced deployment planning by 67 percent—down to just three hours and 34 minutes—saving significant pre-deployment time for our admin as well as in totality
• Deployed our Dell Technologies solution in just one business day, needing just four
hours and 17 minutes
• Reduced installation time by nearly 16 hours, or two days, compared to our admin—or in other words, deployed the solution three times as fast
With ProDeploy Plus for Infrastructure, your organization can realize a faster, more efficient deployment of Dell technology with minimal impact on your in-house IT staff.
The document introduces the key features of XL Deploy version 4.5. It highlights new capabilities in the Rules DSL for combining deployment steps, UI Extensions for extending the user interface, and Configuration Compare for comparing environments. Additional improvements include support for new middleware versions and integrations. The webinar provides overviews and demonstrations of these new features.

The document discusses Informatica and provides an overview of its benefits and uses. It also outlines some common job roles in Informatica, example projects, prerequisites, and the modules covered in an Informatica training course, including data warehousing concepts, administration concepts, and developer concepts.
The document discusses how Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and the tool SpecFlow can help address common challenges for BizTalk projects. BDD uses a Given/When/Then syntax to define features and scenarios in a way that is understandable to both technical and business stakeholders. SpecFlow allows these scenarios to be defined in .NET and then tested against BizTalk implementations. This approach provides requirements that are close to the code, simplifies documentation, and creates an abstraction layer between tests and implementations that makes intentions clearer. While some BizUnit steps still require implementation, overall BDD offers ways to streamline requirements, documentation, and testing for established BizTalk teams.

Need for Speed: Removing speed bumps from your Symfony projects ⚡️Łukasz Chruściel
No one wants their application to drag like a car stuck in the slow lane! Yet it’s all too common to encounter bumpy, pothole-filled solutions that slow the speed of any application. Symfony apps are not an exception.
In this talk, I will take you for a spin around the performance racetrack. We’ll explore common pitfalls - those hidden potholes on your application that can cause unexpected slowdowns. Learn how to spot these performance bumps early, and more importantly, how to navigate around them to keep your application running at top speed.
We will focus in particular on tuning your engine at the application level, making the right adjustments to ensure that your system responds like a well-oiled, high-performance race car.

Hand Rolled Applicative User ValidationCode KataPhilip Schwarz
Could you use a simple piece of Scala validation code (granted, a very simplistic one too!) that you can rewrite, now and again, to refresh your basic understanding of Applicative operators <*>, <*, *>?
The goal is not to write perfect code showcasing validation, but rather, to provide a small, rough-and ready exercise to reinforce your muscle-memory.
Despite its grandiose-sounding title, this deck consists of just three slides showing the Scala 3 code to be rewritten whenever the details of the operators begin to fade away.
The code is my rough and ready translation of a Haskell user-validation program found in a book called Finding Success (and Failure) in Haskell - Fall in love with applicative functors.
