2. Flonase
 Flonase(fluticasone) is a steroid nasal spray.
 It is anti-inflammatory treatment for nasal
congestion, sneezing, and runny nose caused
by allergies.
 The recommended dose is usually 1 to 2 sprays
a day in each nostril. The bottle needs to be
shaken well. However, it may take up to several
days until the medication starts to work.

3. Flonase
 One should not use Flonase if she or he has
glaucoma, cataract, liver disease, herpes
simplex virus of the eyes, tuberculosis, sores
inside one’s nose.
 Side effects include nosebleed, noisy breathing,
runny nose, redness, sores or white patches in
the mouth or throat, fever, chills, weakness, flue
like symptoms, nausea , vomiting, any wound
that would not heal.
 Consult your doctor, if you have to combine
Flonase with other medications

4. Cipro
 Cipro or Ciprofloxacin is an antibiotic of the
fluoroquinolone’s group that is used to treat
bacterial infections.
 Cipro should be taken as prescribed, not larger
or smaller dose, and it should be taken for the
time period prescribed.
 Also it should be taken with full glass of water,
with or without food. Capsules should not be
opened, pills should not be chewed or crushed.

5. Cipro
 Side effects of Cipro include dizziness, fainting,
fast heartbeat, bruising, swelling, tenderness or
stiffness in any of one’s joints; diarrhea,
confusion, depression, seizures, ringing in the
ears, vision problems, pale yellow skin, dark
urine, fever, weakness, decreased urine or no
urine at all, skin rashes.
 If one is taking anti-acids or medications
containing calcium, magnesium or aluminum he
or she should not take Cipro.

6. Mucomiyst
 Mucomyst or Acetylcysteine is a mucolytic
(destroys or dissolves mucus). It liquedifies the
mucus so it is easier to coughed up. It is also
used as antidote for Tylenol in Tylenol overdose
cases.
 The rout of administration is via inhalation, the
number of doses depend on the person’s
condition; it is usually 3-5 ml of 20% solution or
6-10 ml of 10% solution , three to four times a
day.

7. Mucomyst
 Side effects of Mucomyst includes wheezing,
skin rash, clammy skin, fever, irritation or
soreness in the mouth, throat or lungs, nausea,
vomiting, runny nose.
 Other things to consider are that the person
using the mucomyst should have a good cough
reflex due to increased production of mucus.
Also when used the medication has unpleasant
odor.

8. Conclusion
 All three medications should be prescribed
by a doctor.
 They should not be used if allergy to one
of those medications is present.
 If pregnancy or other chronic condition is
present, the doctor should be well aware.
