Harper is an 18-year-old girl who feels like she hasn't had enough fun or made memories before going to university. She decides she wants her friends Grace and Ella to take her out for a fun weekend. They take her to explore the forest, have a movie night, and convince her to go to a party even though she is hesitant. At the party, Grace and Ella encourage Harper to relax and enjoy herself. The next day, Harper fills the scrapbook she had started with photos from her adventurous weekend, feeling like she now has memories to take with her to university.

SCENE 1:INT. HARPER’S BEDROOM – NIGHT
In a teenage girl’s bedroom lit softly with fairy lights
and warm colours, it is messy with clothes on the floor and
school books and folders on bed. Also on the bed is HARPER
an 18 year old girl she is doing work in one of the
folders, she sighs loudly and picks up her phone.
She scrolls through Instagram and sees a post from a
girl showing highlights of her summer, HARPER sighs
loudly again and looks over to a pile of stuff on her
bedroom floor
She gets up walking towards the pile and picks up a
scrapbook that is just poking out from underneath the
mess, she picks it up and looks at it
It reads: MEMORIES TO TAKE TO UNI
She goes back to sit on her bed and opens it, it is
blank.
She looks back to her phone still showing the post,
she closes the app and starts a group call with her 2
friends
NOTE: CONVERSATION IS OVER A PHONE CALL
GRACE
Hey Harper
ELLA
Hi, you okay?
HARPER
Hi, so you know how you are always
telling me I’m being boring and how
much stuff I’m missing out on?
GRACE
Well saying we call you boring is a
bit harsh
ELLA
Yeah

Well I’ve decided I don’t want to be
the sad girl who was never
adventurous and has no memories or
stories at when I got to uni, I need
you this weekend to show me what I’ve
been missing out on
GRACE ELLA

GRACE
We are picking you up tomorrow
END OF PHONE CONVERSATION
SCENE 2: EXT. OUTSIDE HARPER’S HOUSE - DAY
A car horn beeps
HARPER opens her front door and exits the house and
gets into GRACE’s car
INT. GRACE’S CAR - DAY
As HARPER gets in and sits down
GRACE
ELLA
HEY HI
ELLA
Get ready to make some memories
GRACE starts the car and they drive off
SCENE 3: EXT. THE NEW FOREST – DAY
The car drives through the forest
SCENE 4: INT. GRACE’S CAR - DAY
The girls are singing along to music playing loudly in
the car, HARPER is taking photos of ELLA singing into
a water bottle and they are all laughing

SCENE 5: EXT. FOREST – SUNSET
The girls get out the car and sit down watching the
sunset over the forest
HARPER starts taking photos of the scenery and the
other 2 girls as they joke around
FADE OUT
SCENE 6: INT. HARPERS LOUNGE – NIGHT
The girls are sat around on the sofa, there is half
eaten pizza boxes are on the table, the TV is on
playing a film in the background, HARPER takes photos
of the girls with their pizza as they are joking
around
The 3 girls are scrolling through their phones with
the TV on in the background
ELLA gasps and sits up
ELLA
Guys Ben is having a party tomorrow night,
Harper we are taking you, no arguments
GRACE
Yes!
(Turning to Harper)
Harper you are the one that
wanted to have fun
HARPER
I’m not sure, it’s really not my scene and
its Ella that was invited anyway not me
ELLA
You don’t need an invite most people just
turn up to these things
GRACE
Trust us

SCENCE 7: INT. HARPERS BEDROOM – EVENING
Music is playing, there is clothes all over the floor ELLA
is sat in the corner doing her hair in front of the mirror,
and GRACE is holding up outfits for HARPER to wear and
deciding which one she should wear
GRACE
Yes this one
(she holds up a top to HARPER)
Now go put this on, I need to get ready
HARPER comes back into the room, changed, ELLA is still in
the same position and GRACE is now sat at the desk doing
her makeup, HARPER starts to take photos of them and the
turn around and pose for her
ELLA
She takes Harpers phone out of her hand)
Right enough of that, I’m going to do your
makeup, sit
HARPER
Fine, please don’t go over the top, I know
you too well
They all continue to get ready, singing along to
music and laughing taking photos
SCENE 8: EXT. STREET – NIGHT
The girls are stood outside a house with music coming from
inside
HARPER
Hesitantly, I’m not sure this is really my thing, I’m not
even invited it seems rude to just turn up
ELLA
Harper this whole making memories and being adventurous
isn’t your thing, you are going to have fun trust me

GRACE
Don’t worry that you aren’t invited, you don’t need an
invite, the party’s been going for an hour anyway nobody
will care by now
GRACE and ELLA grab one of HARPERS hands each and drag her
up the driveway of the house. They walk up and knock on the
door
BEN
Hey, come in
GRACE
To Harper, told you it would be fine, now let’s get a
drink and have fun
They walk into a house with loud music playing, they walk
through into the kitchen and see people stood around
talking, HARPER and GRACE carry on into the garden to see
people dancing and a game of beer pong happening.
ELLA comes back with 3 cups
ELLA
Got us some drinks, now chill out and enjoy the night
remember what this weekend is about
HARPER
I know, I know, I’m going to
The night continues as HARPER takes photos of people at the
party, socialise and seems to have fun
SCENE 9: INT. HARPERS BEDROOM – DAY
HARPER is sat on her bed the same as the first scene
however she is now surrounded by photos from the
past 2 days and is sticking them into the previously
empty scrapbook
