Upon graduating, he continued his training with a gastroenterology residency in Chicago, Illinois. After immigrating to the United States in 1975, he has remained committed to the medical field. After retiring from gastroenterology in 2014, Dr. Jasvant Modi has since acquired four small hospitals.
