Diabetes mellitus is a common chronic disorder prevalent all over the world and antioxidant therapy for diabetes patients may be helpful in relieving their symptoms and complications. In present era people of developing countries and developed countries looking towards herbal medicine for mange diabetes mellitus, due to long term acceptability and safety of herbal medicine. In Ayurveda medical system, herbal antioxidants have been widely employed for management of various disease such as diabetes mellitus, cancer and heart diseases. With this background this research project was designed to evaluate the antioxidant activity of selected decoctions which are used for management of diabetes mellitus in Ayurveda medicine. Antioxidant potential was evaluated through 2, 2 diphenyl 1 picrylhydrazyl DPPH radical scavenging method. The results of this study revealed that the mean value of absorbance and scavenging activity as 0.291and 59 for decoction of Lipa Kandali LK , 0.313 and 56 for decoction of Nisha Thripal NT , 0.292 and 58 for decoction of Kathaka Khadhira KK , 0.422 and 40 for decoction of Thriphala Kathakan TK at 0.5µg ml and 0.713 for control test. All tested antidiabetic decoctions were showed antioxidant activity. The antioxidant activity of the herbal pharmaceuticals is used to manage clinical features of diabetes mellitus as well as they are played an important role in the relief of long term complications in diabetes mellitus by reducing the oxidative stress. International expert consensus on clinical application of traditional Chinese...LucyPi1
Abstract Guided by the theory of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), TCM formula granules are made through the optimal process of extraction, concentration, drying, and granulation by combining modern new preparation technologies and pharmaceutical technologies. TCM formula granules are stable, safe, convenient, and effective. Compared with TCM decoction pieces, TCM formula granules can achieve the full process control of its industry chain from field to workshop and standardize the management of the origin of medicinal materials, processing of decoction pieces, processing technology, quality inspection, sales, and products distribution. TCM formula granules can partially replace Chinese patent medicines. Only available for around 800 common varieties of TCM, TCM formula granules cannot replace decoction pieces for many types which are not commonly used in clinical practice. A large number of formula granules are used in clinical and animal studies so that investigators no longer need to extract and control the quality of TCM decoction pieces. How to improve the production process, establish the quality standard, perfect the regulatory system, and expand the clinical application are the problems we need to solve as soon as possible for the better development of formula granules.

Clinical Study Protocols, Reports and Research Papers for NutraceuticalsJayesh Chaudhary
Clinical Studies for Nutraceuticals and Pharmaceuticals need to be designed and reported as per internationally recognized guidelines like ICH for the data to be globally accepted in today's stringent regulatory environments.
The world, as we know, has changed. It has become imperative for the governments, employers, workers' organizations, and the global community to adopt workforce protection measures in the fight against COVID-19. These organizations should strengthen capacities to protect health workers and emergency responders, providing them with Occupational Health Services, thus ensuring occupational health and safety. Health workers are at the front line of the COVID-19 outbreak response and hence exposed to hazards that put them at a high risk of infection. Hazards include pathogen exposure, long working hours, psychological distress, fatigue, occupational burnout, stigma, and physical and psychological violence.
As the crisis is set to deepen in the coming months, the absence of adequate protection measures has further amplified the fear of COVID-19 infection and hence put a huge strain on the mental health and psychosocial aspects of health workers. All these have resulted in high rates of absenteeism/absconding and depletion of the Health Workforce. What best practices could safeguard the most precision resource against the COVID-19 outbreak – the healthcare workers? How can we build resilience and boost morale among our health workers?
Here's the webinar "Caring for Caregivers – COVID-19 Crisis and Best Practices for Healthcare Organizations" hosted by QurHealth, a division of GMI, a Chennai-based Health-tech, Research and Innovation Center for Ventech Solutions, USA. QurHealth’s Family Health Book Suite goFHB is a clinical data digitalization & management solution for healthcare organizations that enables them to send patient health records over myFHB application to their patients. Our last three webinars saw 400+ registrations and 250+ delegates participating and promoting active discussion on industry-specific subjects. The upcoming webinar with Healthcare experts will focus on “Caring for Caregivers” addressing the queries and doubts in the minds of healthcare workers and organizations on best practices for healthcare organizations against the COVID-19 crisis.
