To Whom it May Concern:
I first met Brittany Davis when, in the beginning of her freshman year, she joined the
Wright State chapter of the American Marketing Association. Rarely do I see an
individual get involved in this organization so soon after arriving at college. Most other
students are still finding their way and have little direction. Brittany, on the other hand,
had already been active in DECA, a business and marketing leadership organization in
high school, and was very focused about learning and becoming actively involved.
Over the past few years, Brittany has taking on greater leadership roles and currently
serves as President. This year, Brittany led the organization to record-breaking attendance
at our club’s signature event, Wright Brothers Day, and garnered local media exposure via
interviews with ABC 22/Fox 45 and coverage with WDTN and the Dayton Daily News.
Besides coordinating all event planning and promotion, Brittany helped introduce a new
feature, the Wright Brothers Selfie Station, where attendees could take photos with full-
size figures of the Wright Brothers and upload the photos to Instagram for onsite display.
Brittany is an excellent student, one of a select few to be recognized as a Customer Insight
marketing scholar. Brittany has received several other academic scholarships as well.
On a personal note, Brittany is very friendly and engaging. A remarkable thing about
Brittany is that she takes the initiative to help others when her talents are needed. For
example, Brittany has interned with Back2Back ministries in Mexico, where she led
people, organized events, and communicated with supporters via email and social media.
Brittany also volunteers to lead church and sorority organizations to help the community.
If your organization is looking for a person with a strong combination of academic
achievement, solid marketing experience and demonstrated leadership, Brittany Davis
would be an excellent fit.
Sincerely,
Kendall Goodrich
