My colleague was writing a book with a co-writer and a team of editors, publishers and designers. Time wise, they put almost the same effort writing as they did in emails, searching, comparing and finding the versions they need. It shouldn’t be that hard. And we believe we can change that.
Introducing DoxBee. Simple and beautiful document collaboration app. It’s all the stuff you already do, but in one place. It literary gets you going in a minute and we promise that you’ll never ever search for the last version of your documents ever again. But, we haven’t stopped there.
Often you only need to see the differences between the documents. In DoxBee that’s just one click away. No more browsing, searching and loading documents.
Searching is pointless if you don’t find the stuff you need. That’s why we index all docs and you can search them by keyword.
DoxBee has deep email integration, meaning that all the email messages from external collaborators are in that document’s timeline.
Our target market are small businesses and consumers that use cloud storage services for document collaboration. The size of the market is in tens, if not hundreds, of millions of users. Having said that, we’ve thought of two go-to market strategies. The first: we have an iPad app for presenting powerpoint presentations with around 100K downloads. We’re going to introduce those users to DoxBee. From another app we created before – Appser for Google Docs, we have a small network of teachers and we’re going to give them to use DoxBee for free with their students. The second: these days we’ll sign a partnership agreement with T-Mobile Macedonia and a part of the agreement is that they will sell and distribute DoxBee through their sales channels and also try to sell it to the other Deutsche Telekom subsidaries.
The first threecompanies, in their own words, are focused on secure sharing of documents. Dispatch wants to replace email completely by using cloud services.I can name a 100 similar companies, but they all have one crucial difference. They’re making users learn new stuff. They’re making them migrate to their service completely. DoxBee on the other hand, mimics what people already do, but does that in a system. When we said like that, it’s obvious, but no one has done it exactly like that.
The business model is pretty straightforward – subscription for consumers and businesses.
