RESULTS: Overall life span (LS) was 2252.1±1742.5 days and cumulative 5-year survival (5YS) reached 73.2%, 10 years – 64.8%, 20 years – 42.5%. 513 LCP lived more than 5 years (LS=3124.6±1525.6 days), 148 LCP – more than 10 years (LS=5054.4±1504.1 days).199 LCP died because of LC (LS=562.7±374.5 days). 5YS of LCP after bi/lobectomies was significantly superior in comparison with LCP after pneumonectomies (78.1% vs.63.7%, P=0.00001 by log-rank test). AT significantly improved 5YS (66.3% vs. 34.8%) (P=0.00000 by log-rank test) only for LCP with N1-2. Cox modeling displayed that 5YS of LCP significantly depended on: phase transition (PT) early-invasive LC in terms of synergetics, PT N0—N12, cell ratio factors (ratio between cancer cells- CC and blood cells subpopulations), G1-3, histology, glucose, AT, blood cell circuit, prothrombin index, heparin tolerance, recalcification time (P=0.000-0.038). Neural networks, genetic algorithm selection and bootstrap simulation revealed relationships between 5YS and PT early-invasive LC (rank=1), PT N0—N12 (rank=2), thrombocytes/CC (3), erythrocytes/CC (4), eosinophils/CC (5), healthy cells/CC (6), lymphocytes/CC (7), segmented neutrophils/CC (8), stick neutrophils/CC (9), monocytes/CC (10); leucocytes/CC (11). Correct prediction of 5YS was 100% by neural networks computing (area under ROC curve=1.0; error=0.0).
CONCLUSIONS: 5YS of LCP after radical procedures significantly depended on: 1) PT early-invasive cancer; 2) PT N0--N12; 3) cell ratio factors; 4) blood cell circuit; 5) biochemical factors; 6) hemostasis system; 7) AT; 8) LC characteristics; 9) LC cell dynamics; 10) surgery type: lobectomy/pneumonectomy; 11) anthropometric data. Optimal diagnosis and treatment strategies for LC are: 1) screening and early detection of LC; 2) availability of experienced thoracic surgeons because of complexity of radical procedures; 3) aggressive en block surgery and adequate lymph node dissection for completeness; 4) precise prediction; 5) adjuvant chemoimmunoradiotherapy for LCP with unfavorable prognosis.

2. Dogs & Pet Health
Introduction:
In this chapter, we will take a closer look at the anatomy and physiology of dogs. We
will cover topics such as the skeletal system, muscular system, respiratory system, and
more. Understanding the basic structure and functions of these systems can help you
understand how to care for your dog's overall health.
Canine anatomy refers to the physical structure of dogs, including their bones,
muscles, organs, and other parts. The physiology of a dog is the study of how the body
functions, including the dog's metabolism, immune system, and other physiological
processes. Understanding a dog's anatomy and physiology is important for proper care,
breeding, and treatment of health problems. Some key aspects of canine anatomy
include the skeletal system, musculoskeletal system, cardiovascular system, and
digestive system. Some key aspects of canine physiology include metabolism, hormone
regulation, and the immune system. Additionally, it is important to note that different
breeds of dogs can have different anatomies and physiologies based on their purpose
and genetic make-up
Understanding the anatomy and physiology of dogs,as pets, is important for proper
care, identification of any health issues, and providing the best possible environment
for them. Some key aspects of canine anatomy to be aware of include:
Skeletal system: Dogs have a strong skeletal system that supports their body and allows
for movement. They have a total of 319 bones.
Musculoskeletal system: Dogs have a well-developed musculoskeletal system which
allows them to move quickly and perform a wide range of physical activities.
Cardiovascular system: The heart of a dog pumps blood through the body, providing
oxygen and nutrients to all the cells, tissues, and organs.
Digestive system:Dogs have a simple and efficientdigestive system, which allows them
to digest and absorb food quickly.
Some key aspects of canine physiology to be aware of include:
Metabolism: Dogs have a high metabolic rate, which allows them to burn calories
quickly and maintain their body temperature.
Dogs are one of the most popular pets in the world, and for good reason. They are loyal,
loving, and make great companions. However, owning a dog also comes with the
responsibility of ensuring their health and well-being. In this book, we will explore
different aspects of dog health and how to keep your furry friend happy and healthy.
Chapter 1 Understanding Canine Anatomy and Physiology
3. Hormone regulation: Hormones play an important role in the physiology of dogs,
regulating many of their physiological processes such as growth, reproduction, and
metabolism.
Immune system: Dogs have a strong immune system that helps to protect them from
infections and diseases.
It is also important to note that different breeds of dogs can have different
anatomies and physiologies based on their purpose and genetic make-up. It is also
crucial to consult with a veterinarian for any health concern, as they are the experts
in the field of veterinary medicine.
Proper nutrition is essential for a dog's health. In this chapter, we will discuss the
different types of dog food available, the nutritional needs of dogs at different life
stages, and how to read dog food labels. We will also cover common nutritional
problems, such as obesity, and how to prevent them.
Feeding and nutrition are important aspects of caring for dogs as pets. A well-balanced
diet is essential for maintaining a dog's health and well-being.
There are two main types of dog food available:commercialdog food and homemade
dog food. Commercial dog food is widely available and comes in a variety of forms,
such as dry kibble, canned food, and semi-moist food. These foods are formulated to
provide dogs with all the necessary nutrients they need. Homemade dog food is made
by the
pet owner and typically consists of a combination of meat, vegetables, and grains.
When choosing a commercial dog food, it is important to select a high-quality food
that is appropriate for the dog's life stage (puppy, adult, senior) and size (small,
medium, large). It is also important to read the ingredientlist and avoid any food with
low-quality ingredients such as by-products, fillers, and artificial preservatives.
When feeding homemade food, it is important to consult with a veterinarian or animal
nutritionist to ensure that the diet is balanced and provides all the necessary nutrients.
