It's a fact of life that some relationships go through the occasional rough patch. In most cases, these are worked out; either through rational discussion or some arguing, but the issues get resolved. But when there's a narcissist involved, the "rough patch" can be a lot less of a patch and more of a cold, wet, heavy blanket that seems to cover your whole life.
This is often referred to as a toxic relationship - but how do you know the difference between a simple rough patch in your relationship and and a very toxic situation? The differences, sadly, can seem subtle at first.

1. Does doing drugs mess up your mental health?
Yes, and let me tell you why. Drugs literally re-wire your brains "happy center", which gives off
chemicals that make you feel happy. Things that set it off are of course, things that make you happy,
such as comedies, taking a walk with somebody, or enjoying a good movie. These drugs eventually
make it so the only thing that sets your "happy center" off is drugs itself, so you'll never feel as
happy without your drugs, and that is why they are so darn addictive. Other things like having to
deal with the side effects and what others think of you for doing them can also hurt a person
mentally.
Take a good look of pictures of people before and after a life of drugs, and you'll notice how different
they will look and ACT. If you really want to help yourself and others around you, then I would
suggest you stop doing this. I guarantee that you'll be thanking yourself sooner or later and that
you'll be happier because you won't need drugs to make you happy.
