Kailash Satyarthi is an Indian children's rights activist who won the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize. He founded the Bachpan Bachao Andolan in 1980 to protect children's rights and has rescued over 80,000 children from child labor. Satyarthi has worked internationally to highlight child labor as a human rights issue and established organizations to end it. He continues advocating and calling on global leaders to achieve freedom for children from slavery, labor, abuse, and illiteracy.
