Service design is a genuinely multi-disciplinary enterprise that borrows methods and thoughts from a wide spectrum of fields. Service designers work on problems from discovery to solution, which requires a good understanding of different stages and a capability to switch the mode of thinking between analytical and creative.
Framing the problem, getting users right and proceeding with the right insights is often crucial for the success of a service design project. Methods of ethnographic research are often used in the insight part of the projects, but the tools of analysis are applied more rarely.
Aim of this talk was to present some analytical tools of ethnographic research and social sciences that could provide new viewpoints into the process of crafting insights.

From Contingent to Corporate: Creating a Great Culture for All WorkersErin DeLucas
Creating a great company culture is about making a lasting impact on your employees.
You already know the basics: show your team respect, let your team know you care, make your team feel like they belong.
You also know that those tasks are much easier said than done.
In this webcast, Wonolo’s vice president of people and culture, Katie Evans-Reber, will share her insights on creating a great company culture, as well as guidance on keeping workers safe and engaged, from your warehouse to your corporate office.
Evans-Reber will present on a variety of topics, including:
-How the HR landscape has changed in light of COVID-19
-What company culture is (and what it isn’t)
-How to measure success
-The four pillars of any great culture
-What other great companies are doing
Helping organisations to build more diverse teams and professionals to have successful careers is part of our purpose to power people and organisations to fulfil their unique potential. That’s why we’re committed to supporting the D&I strategies of our clients, designing our recruitment processes to ensure the talent pools we present are as diverse and inclusive as possible.

What is great company culture? Free food? Extra vacation? Flexible hours? More than $720 million is spent on engagement every year, yet only 30% of the workforce is actively engaged. That’s because it takes more than “stuff” to truly engage team members.
Check out our ‘Creating a Magnetic Culture’ webinar presentation with HR strategist, writer and speaker, Laurie Ruettimann, to:
– Uncover how to give your team members real meaning in their jobs … no matter where they are in the employee life cycle
– Define what it means to have a “magnetic” culture and how to build it by design, not by default
– Get actionable tips on how to create an engaging culture from companies like Texas Roadhouse and Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams
– Discover which “perks” can actually drive record sales and continued growth
– Learn how a meaningful culture gives you a competitive edge to attract and retain top talent

Maturious 360 Capability Talent Matching Technology is spearheading efforts to engage millions of mature-age people as a vital source of talent to shape tomorrows global workforce.
Maturious is designed to find and measure the employment value of people undervalued underutilized by the market (mature age) and our system for finding the employment value in undervalued mature age people has proven itself thus far.
We plan to expand our 360 Capability Talent Matching Technology (platform) globally to include other undervalued and underutilized workers such as veterans, refugees, people with disabilities and women returning to the workforce.
The Maturious Platform provides a new category of capability profiling and talent matching technology which is significantly different from AI technologies and job board platforms that provide resume analysis and filtering tools (AI) to match keywords advertised in roles to a candidate’s resume. AI requires a lot of data and can learn human biases.
This is our services overview for 2018, inclusive of Corporate Social Responsibility strategies, non-profit workshops, next generation counselling and more.
No business or industry is immune to worker shortages, so it follows that employers today must adopt a recruitment strategy that involves many diverse groups -- including people with disabilities.
A presentation to support the workforce in hiring, accommodating and retaining employees with disabilities. Let's focus on ABILITY not disability! Disabled, not disable. Know the difference.

Russian anarchist and anti-war movement in the third year of full-scale warAntti Rautiainen
Anarchist group ANA Regensburg hosted my online-presentation on 16th of May 2024, in which I discussed tactics of anti-war activism in Russia, and reasons why the anti-war movement has not been able to make an impact to change the course of events yet. Cases of anarchists repressed for anti-war activities are presented, as well as strategies of support for political prisoners, and modest successes in supporting their struggles.
