“Street Lights Replacement System- A Key Necessity for Make in India Campaign”inventionjournals
The document discusses the need for street light replacement in India to support the "Make in India" campaign. It notes that India faces a deficit between electricity demand and supply that hinders industrialization. Replacing traditional street lights with LED lights could help address this deficit by saving a significant amount of electricity. LED lights last longer, are more efficient, and provide flexibility in lighting that traditional sodium vapor lamps lack. The document argues that widespread street light replacement using LED technology could generate enough electricity savings to help bridge India's power gap and further the goals of the "Make in India" initiative to boost industrialization and economic growth.

Design & Implementation of a Low Cost Data Logger for Solar Home SystemDr. Amarjeet Singh
The demand of electric power is increasing
gradually with the advancement of modern technology &
engineering. Because the demand of electricity in urban
areas or in industrial zones is large in amount & also more
important than the rural areas, there exists a shortage of
electric power supply facilities for rural households or
remote location from the cities. In this case, Solar Energy is a
promising solution to meet the demand for electricity
services of rural areas in developing countries like
Bangladesh. The effectiveness & stability of small PV
systems for rural development is needed to be monitored for
successful installment of Solar Panel. In order to analyze the
system & modify it for cost reduction a data capturing unit
should be constructed that can store the voltages & currents
at three different terminals. A microcontroller operated
Smart Data Logger can perform this work with high
accuracy & precision maintaining the system cost much less
than the conventional system. This paper deals with the
design and implementation of a low cost data logger for solar
home system. An experimental set up is designed and
implemented and the paper illustrates the working principle,
data observation and analysis, limitations, and future aspects
of a low cost data logger for solar home system.

THE SACRIFICE HOW PRO-PALESTINE PROTESTS STUDENTS ARE SACRIFICING TO CHANGE T...indexPub
The recent surge in pro-Palestine student activism has prompted significant responses from universities, ranging from negotiations and divestment commitments to increased transparency about investments in companies supporting the war on Gaza. This activism has led to the cessation of student encampments but also highlighted the substantial sacrifices made by students, including academic disruptions and personal risks. The primary drivers of these protests are poor university administration, lack of transparency, and inadequate communication between officials and students. This study examines the profound emotional, psychological, and professional impacts on students engaged in pro-Palestine protests, focusing on Generation Z's (Gen-Z) activism dynamics. This paper explores the significant sacrifices made by these students and even the professors supporting the pro-Palestine movement, with a focus on recent global movements. Through an in-depth analysis of printed and electronic media, the study examines the impacts of these sacrifices on the academic and personal lives of those involved. The paper highlights examples from various universities, demonstrating student activism's long-term and short-term effects, including disciplinary actions, social backlash, and career implications. The researchers also explore the broader implications of student sacrifices. The findings reveal that these sacrifices are driven by a profound commitment to justice and human rights, and are influenced by the increasing availability of information, peer interactions, and personal convictions. The study also discusses the broader implications of this activism, comparing it to historical precedents and assessing its potential to influence policy and public opinion. The emotional and psychological toll on student activists is significant, but their sense of purpose and community support mitigates some of these challenges. However, the researchers call for acknowledging the broader Impact of these sacrifices on the future global movement of FreePalestine.

14. Observation and Learnings
Observation: During my study, I observed that in current
financial year (2012-13) there were 4.6 lakhs pending
application seeking electricity connection in farm sector and
the government planned to provide 1 lakh connection to rural
areas but provided just 48,435 connections sanctioned by
PGVCL so far.
Learnings:
During my study, I got an opportunity to learn about
team dynamics and its various roles of working in an
organization.
(cont’d)
15. With these I would like to say that organization working and
cultural environment was really a nice experience for me where
there was no bias between people, everybody feels free to take
initiative and help each other.
Learning about SPSS software, a decision making tool used by
researchers to carry out results from long processed data was a
great opportunity for me and involvement of taking initiative
regarding any work assigned to me motivated me to do well
throughout my internship.
