Discussion Topic for Pest World 2011<br />Return on Investment (ROI) In the Pest Management Business -   Daniel S. Gordon, CPA of PCObookkeepers.com -  Buying, Trying, and Growing Your PCO Business.  These are the decisions PCOs are faced with every day.   This discussion will focus on the decision making tools needed to make successful financial decisions. Topics covered will be asset, personnel and marketing expenditures.  A special case study will be developed that will determine the ROI required to implement a Social Media campaign.  Participants will learn what they must receive in order to make the investment in this area.<br />About Daniel S. Gordon, CPA<br />Certified Public Accountant with an expertise is in entrepreneurship and new venture management. He has personally been involved with building two pest control companies that employ over 100 full time employees.<br />Was employed by Deloitte and Touche, an international accounting and consulting firm, as an auditor and tax consultant <br />Started, owned, operated and grew a pest management firm in Northern New Jersey that he eventually sold to a large regional Pest Management Company for a significant profit.<br />Worked as CFO for acquiring Company.  While there the company tripled in size in terms of revenues and employees.<br />Currently owns an accounting and consulting firm that specializes in building pest control businesses.  <br />Website: www.pcobookkeepers.com<br />Owner / Manager of the “Linked In” group “PCO Business Solutions.”  With over 800 PCO members as well as others who serve the PCO industry, it is the largest Social Media platform for management of PCO Businesses in the social media arena.
