The client is a large US healthcare ROI provider that needs to migrate its existing systems to a cloud-based architecture to transform into a healthcare technology platform company. OFS was engaged to understand the legacy systems, propose a future-state cloud architecture, and identify reusable components. The new architecture will use microservices and APIs to provide improved performance, scalability, and allow the client to monetize its services and gain new business opportunities. Key phases included componentizing the existing systems and designing a microservices-based architecture to enable the legacy and cloud platforms to coexist.

healthcare providers. The client also has the broadest network and capabilities in release of
information (ROI), record retrieval and health information management. Its suite of products has
tailored features for information exchange, record retrieval, coding, ROI, analytics and decision
support. In its effort to transform into a healthcare technology platform provider, the need to migrate
and rebuild the existing systems as an SOA platform on the cloud was realized. OFS was involved to
understand the legacy systems, propose the future-state, cloud-first architecture, identify
repurposable components and advise technology candidates for implementation.
