What is NLP? (Neurolinguistic Programming)Jacob Laguerre
This presentation is about Neurolinguistic Programming or NLP for short. NLP was founded by John Grinder and Richard Bandler, back in the 1970s and has since, spread all over the world. Richard has defined NLP as "an attitude, backed by a methodology, that leaves behind a trail of techniques". It is through the use of this novel technology that average people learn how to "run their own brains" and create a subjective reality that enables them to become all that they can be.

2. What is reality????? Everything that exists. Everything that is, observable or or not is observable. The degree of agreement by two ends of a communication line. Created in the mind.
3. We all create our realities of people, events and things in our environment internally, using the process of perception: Selecting Sorting Interpreting data from the external environment.
4. Selection: is not only conscious, is more an awareness process by which our senses of sight, smell, hearing, feeling, and taste play an important role to filter information or select it to our awareness.
5. Sorting: is a process of organizing the information that we have become aware of, this organization is based on experiences and may not be share by others.
6. in this phase we search our memory and assign meaning to the data based on previous experiences.
7. What influences our interpretation of data? Closure: is the mind’s imperative to make sense out of its environment, even when only limited data is available. Selective Perception: takes place when we narrow available cognitions to make interpretations. Patterning: is the attempt to keep new perceptions in line with past ones.
8. Reality Testing Is a tool used by mediators that involves displaying pictures to test what the other sees…
9. When we are in our comfort zone, we are in state of Stasis; which basically means an absence of change in one or more of our realities.
