• Simon realises that good deeds are not always the best 
thing for him 
• The video is about Simon (Alex Turner) learning a lesson 
about violence whilst growing up 
• Simon encounters two scenes of violence whilst growing 
up in the video, where he must decide what is the best 
idea to take to help himself and others
STORYBOARD 
Start in oak with pool shot (8 seconds) and film crowd until – cut to performance (15 seconds) 
film simon walking out (tracking shot of face) (23 seconds) - singing and walking along street 
Cut to performance element – filming different angles (31 seconds) 
Film simon walking into wheatsheaf (41 seconds on slag)
