Millions of years ago, dinosaurs lived on Earth for over 165 million years in many different sizes and forms, some being huge and others small, before mysteriously going extinct. Dinosaurs came in various diets such as herbivores like Diplodocus that ate leaves and carnivores like Velociraptor and T-Rex that ate meat. While the exact cause is unknown, some believe an asteroid caused environmental changes dinosaurs could not adapt to. The only things that remain of dinosaurs are fossils found in the earth and rock. The Natural History Museum in London houses one of the most important dinosaur collections in the world with over 10,000 specimens for children to enjoy through plays and activities.
