Checkout	process	is	the	number-one	pain	point	
for	73	percent	of	consumers.		
Speed	it	up	by	letting	your	customers	scan	articles	
with	their	smartphones.
How	it	works
Shopping	trip	
	
1.	Initialization	
	
	
	
2.	Recognition	
Customer	is	located	in	the	right	store	:	
•  by	geolocalization,	
•  by	choosing	his	store	from	a	list,	
•  by	scanning	a	2D	code.	
	
This	 allows	 to	 download	 the	 right	 product	
catalog	(prices,	barcodes,	discounts,…).	
	
Thanks	 to	 the	 2D	 code,	 customer	 can	 also	
connect	to	the	in-store	WiFi.	
	
Customer	 creates	 his	 account	 (1st	
check-in)	:	
•  by	 scanning	 his	 loyalty	 card	
with	his	smartphone	or	creating	
a	login	/	password	
•  Fills	 the	 on-boarding	 form	
(personal	data	&	credit	card)
Shopping	trip	
	
3.	Filling	the	basket	
	
	
	
4.	End	of	trip	
Customer	 scans	 articles	 and	 gets	 their	 name,	
price,	product	sheet	(option).	
•  He	creates	his	shopping	list.	
•  He	can	do	a	single	or	a	multiple	scan.	
•  He	can	also	enter	barcodes	manually.	
	
Scanned	 articles	 are	 synchronized	 both	 with	
the	server	and	with	the	smartphone.	
Customer	ends	the	shopping	trip	:	
•  by	 scanning	 a	 barcode	 located	 on	 a	
cash	register,	
•  by	 making	 a	 cashier	 scan	 the	 end	 of	
trip	 QR	 code	 on	 the	 customer’s	
smartphone	 in	 order	 to	 unload	 the	
content	 of	 the	 shopping	 cart	 on	 the	
right	cash	register,	
•  by	pressing	Pay	(if	payment	in	app).

If	necessary,	a	cashier	is	notified	on	the	
cash	register	or	scanner	that	a	customer	
has	 finished	 his	 shopping.	 Cashier	 can	
then	 control	 the	 customer’s	 shopping	
cart	using:	
•  a	traditional	cash	register,	
•  a	wireless	barcode	scanner,	
•  a	touch	pad.	
Customer	 pays	 on	 a	 self	 service	 cash	
register	or	directly	in	app.
