2. Photoshop The play I read was “Osama the Hero.” When told to gather images relating to our play. I went out and took photos of objects and places I thought were interesting and I felt related to “Osama the Hero” e.g. bin’s and garages. Using the filles I paly around using different effaces
4. I sketched out some ideas for costume designs and then scanned them in to Photoshop, using the air brush to colour them. Then using the burn and dodge tools to darken and lighten the images and show folds in the fabric. I have used scanned in materials in the past, images I found in magazines and on the internet but unfortunately my USB stick broke and I lost all of my research. Gary……… Mandy……..
5. Quick idea for a set on Photoshop, just shape and textures.
6. Theatre Design Hoodie Logo……… My self and kylie Stafford worked on a submission for the course hoodie, firstly we sketched a rough design and then scanned them into Photoshop. I think it worked out very well and I hope it gets picked.
7. 3D Studio Max When I first got on to 3D Max I just experimented with shapes and colours. Here are some examples of what I did.
9. Idea’s For Sets……… On 3D Max you can also add textures of your own, so I used some of my photos I think this could be very useful in future.
10. Auto CAD We only got the one lesson of Auto CAD, so the work load was less for this. We explored with how to draw using the commands and we also put the measurements of the shapes on as well. We also tried to draw a floppy disk, however I didn’t finish it because time was short.
13. Evaluation Overall I feel that I have done all I can. I didn’t find the class particularly helpful, because of the large class and the way it was taught. I can’t remember any of what has been said. I was taught how to use Photoshop by my boyfriend and the other programs friends helped me with. I think the program will be useful and I will use them in my next design program however the lesson frustrated me.
