- Students (NOT digital natives – see visitors and residents work by Alison Le Cornu and Dave White in 101) access to devices, high proportion (72%) clearly access additional resources.
- Students see a mismatch between what they do in the classroom and what is useful in the real world. 24% never work online with others - % of those who work internationally eg virtual exchange probably smaller. University use of student data _ a critical moment to reflect eg. Turnitin (enforced use of tech, student data sold by company, Canvas same)
- Students feel they have greater agency if they can use devices in their study/learning. More access to devices (chromebooks) Poll on digital practices.
