DIGITAL MARKETING
Marketing means the promotion of products to sales and purchase of goods and connecting
with people in the right place and at the right time. As we all know that nowadays the uses of the
internet are increasing day by day as the uses of technology. Digital marketing is also like the
component of the internet and is based on technology such as desktop computers, mobile, and
other digital media platforms to promote the product. Digital marketing is also known as online
marketing where the products are being promoted through many social media platforms like
Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin, SEO(Search Engine Optimization), Email, and content
marketing.
Digital marketing is mainly internet marketing, so there are endless possibilities for brands
including video, email, social media, or website-based marketing opportunities. Nowadays
digital marketing plays an important role in every sector. Many options help the customer to
know more about the product. Digital marketing is a very easy process to reach all types of
customers, find out their needs and provide the product or services accordingly.
Types of Digital Marketing –
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)- Recently search engine plays a very important role in
everyone’s life.
Such as Google is the best search engine to search for everything. So, every business wants its
website to rank higher on the search engine result page thereby increasing the amount of organic
traffic your website receives. The channels that benefit from it include website blogs.
1. Content marketing –
It is the process of creating and sharing valuable free content to attract prospects and convert
them into customers.
1. Social Marketing –
Social marketing is the use of marketing principles and techniques to influence a target audience
to voluntarily accept, reject or modify behaviour for the benefit of an individual group or society
as a whole. In social media marketing such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn companies
post their advertisement and also make reels to attract customers.
4. Email marketing –
Email marketing is a marketing strategy that uses email as a tool to deliver commercial messages
and generate sales.
To do the digital marketing effectively you must define your goal as well as identify who
is the target audience. You must establish your proper budget for each digital channel. A balance
should be maintained between paid and free digital strategies. The content should be engaging so
that the targeted audience will be attracted to your products.
