 Attending  Anesthesiologist  at  the   Massachusetts   Eye   and   Ear   Infirmary   and   Chief   of   Anesthesia   at   Franciscan  Children’s  Hospital  in  Boston.       Dan   Gebremedhin,   M.D.,   M.B.A.,   Senior   Associate,   Flare  Capital  Partners   Dan   Gebremedhin   currently   serves   as   a   Senior   Associate  at  Flare  Capital  Partners,  where  he  focuses   on   identifying   early   stage   companies   that   harness   technology  to  achieve  the  Healthcare  “Triple  Aim.”     Previously,  Dan  spent  time  as  an  entrepreneur  and  operator  in  the   Health   IT   Industry,   cofounding   and   managing   two   separate   businesses   in   the   Electronic   Health   Records   and   Online   Medical   Education  industries.   Dan   earned   a   B.S.   with   honors   from   the   University   of   California,   San   Diego,   an   M.D.   Summa   Cum   Laude   from   the   Morehouse   School   of   Medicine,   and   an   M.B.A.   from   the   Harvard   Business  School.       Karl   F.   Koster,   Executive   Director,   MIT   Office   of   Corporate  Relations/Industrial  Liaison  Program   Karl   F.   Koster   is   the   executive   director   of   the   MIT   Office   of   Corporate   Relations.   The   Office   of   Corporate   Relations   at   MIT   includes   the   Industrial   Liaison   Program,   which   celebrated   60   years   of   service  to  the  Institute  and  its  corporate  partners  in   2008.   In   that   capacity,   he   and   his   staff   work   with   the   senior   administrative   and   faculty   leadership   of   MIT   in   developing   and   implementing  strategies  for  enhancing  corporate  involvement  with   the  Institute.     Mr.   Koster   has   been   involved   with   faculty   leaders   in   identifying   and   designing   a   number   of   major   international   programs   for   MIT.   Many   of   these   programs   focus   on   institutional   development  and  are  characterized  by  the  establishment  of  strong,   international,   programmatic   linkages   between   universities,   industry,  and  governments.   Mr.   Koster   graduated   from   Brown   University   with   a   B.A.   in   geology  and  economics  in  1974,  and  received  an  M.S.  from  the  MIT   Sloan   School   of   Management   in   1980.   At   the   Sloan   School   he   concentrated   in   international   business   management   and   the   management  of  technological  innovation.  Prior  to  returning  to  MIT,   Mr.  Koster  worked  as  a  management  consultant  for  seven  years  in   Europe,  Latin  America,  and  the  United  States  on  projects  for  private   and  public  sector  organizations.     John   Mastrototaro,   Vice   President   Informatics,   Medtronic   John  J.  Mastrototaro  is  currently  the  Vice  President  of   Informatics   at   Medtronic.       In   this   new   role,   he   is   partnering   with   various   stakeholders   to   develop   a   strategy   and   resource   center   around   Big   Data   and   Advanced   Analytics.  In  2003,  John  received  the  Bakken  Award  from  Medtronic   Inc.   for   his   scientific   &   research   contributions   in   the   field   of   diabetes.       John  received  his  B.A.  degree  in  math  and  physics  from  Holy   Cross  College  in  1982.    John  received  his  Masters  and  Ph.D.  degrees   in   biomedical   engineering   from   Duke   University.     His   Doctoral   Dissertation   was   entitled   “Thin-­‐Film   Multielectrode   Arrays   for   Voltage   Measurements   in   the   Heart.”     John   holds   over   50   US   patents.

products   for   the   skin   microbiome.   She   is   a   cosmetics   and   consumer   goods   entrepreneur   who   received  her  degree  in  chemical  and  biological  engineering  from  MIT.  Her   unconventional   path   combined   her   technical   background   with   roles   at   brands   like   LVMH,   Fresh,   NutraClick   and   Living   Proof.   She   has   extensive   experience  Braunstein,  CEO,  ClinLogica  Inc.   Andrew   is   the   CEO   of   ClinLogica   Inc.,   which   he   started   in   2013,  to  solve  how  to  better  use  patient  data  to  drive  clinical  M.D.  is  CTO  of  Patient  Privacy  Rights,  a   national   organization   representing   10   million   patients   and   is   a   veteran   of   patient-­‐centered   health   information   infrastructure.     As  an  entrepreneur  and  physician-­‐developer  he  has   founded   a   number   of   software-­‐intensive   medical   device   companies.   He   consults  on  Federal  pilots
