1. - Digital technologies refers to enabling technologies for digital media systems, including
technologies for generation of interactive media, processing and coding of media and for
wired and wireless transfer and storage of media content. Applications that use these
technologies include teleconferencing, interactive multimedia
applications, entertainment, computer games, telemedicine, surveillance etc.
- Special effects have become a big part of most of today's horror movies often used to
add to the suspense of the film or even be what is supposed to scare you in the movie.
You can hear what the actual horror figure sounds like and what it is doing. In most
modern horror films you might hear a loud thump, a growl/voice coming from somewhere
unknown, or something moves by itself. Modern technology focuses more on how the
character looks in a horror film through the use of prosthetics. Prosthetics make the
character look more real. Prosthetics also are added to the face to make a character more
scary. In older films, the scary character does not have much done to his/her face; they
have more scariness about them. Technology of today also makes the movie more graphic
through the use of blood and adding makeup to the character. The character also does
more stunts.
