Different types of shots used in a film
              trailer of our production
While creating the trailer we have came across many different
shots which would help us establish the actual genre and make
it easier for the audience to be able to recognise it.

This is an example of high angle shot when the
protagonist sleeps however we can already see a grimace
on her face which informs the audience of the bad
presentiment she is having relating to the oncoming
                                  danger.

The high angle shot is also very typical when a n innocent character is to be introduced in
the trailer. As she is the main character of our trailer and she will be the one affected by
the antagonist it is very important for the audience to find relation between those two
characters and understand how they affect each other.
This is an example of a long shot used in our trailer. This
shot presents the antagonist acting very lost and
confused in a dark light therefore, it informs the
audience that she is the danger waiting for the others .
Nevertheless, it also informs the audience of the set in
location- showing different places not only the house
where the main scenes are set.

The lighting used in this shot is very typical for horror genre because it creates an
atmosphere of impending doom.

The high angle shot helps to create direct eye contact
between the ghost and the viewer to help make them
feel more immersed in the trailer. The dark lighting
makes he scene more ominous and makes the ghost
                                     seem more intimidating.
