10 Most Common Misconceptions About User Experience DesignWhitney Hess
Here's the presentation I gave at Pittsburgh Web Design Day (http://www.webdesignday.com) based on my article on Mashable (http://mashable.com/2009/01/09/user-experience-design/)
Accessibility Support Baseline: Balancing User Needs Against Test EffortAidan Tierney
A guided conversation about the accessibility support baseline and an opportunity to find out what others are supporting and to share thoughts and experiences. The support baseline is the term WCAG uses for the set of user technologies that an application is expected to work with, specifically the combinations of assistive technology (AT), operating system (OS) and where relevant browser and device. WCAG doesn’t define what needs to be in the baseline because it depends on your users, and on the technologies available to them.
Is testing only one combination for web and one for mobile sufficient? Changes in desktop screen reader usage, mobile fragmentation, and frequent updates to OS and AT may mean that it isn’t. But there are hundreds if not thousands of potential combinations. How do we balance support for these combinations against testing effort?
We will discuss:
• Who or what does a baseline impact?
• Variables to account for in a baseline
• Effort and costs
• Assistive Technology usage data
• Organizational challenges to supporting AT
• Sample web and mobile support baselines.
Digital workflow in full mouth rehabilitation using CBCTApurva Thampi
This is a journal club presentation on the digital workflow of a full mouth rehabilitation using implants and as CBCT as a guide.
The presentation and all the materials collected is available on request. Mail me at apurvathampi@gmail.com
This presentation gives a brief overview of the current intra oral scanner market as of October 2018. Comparisons of accuracy and a brief overview of some of the software packages available to allow you to go to guide.
360 Visualise: Last year 360 Visualise sold more CBCT in the UK than any other company. Our first scanning centre in Ilkley was the first independent CBCT referral centre outside of London and we now scan over 3000 patients each year. This experience gives us a unique insight into the clinical needs and processes of the dental profession and what can be achieved with new software packages.
New processes are quickly developing enabling implant dentists to quickly scan, plan and print implant drilling guides using third-party applications such as SMoP & BlueSkyBio. The price of these services has reduced dramatically over the past year and with increased competition is set to continue to improve and become more accurate and efficient.
Working with so many dentists and labs, 360 Visualise are in a unique position to support you and your 3D scanner as this incredible technology continues to evolve over the coming years.

Motivationsprofils in verschiedene „Persönlichkeitstypen“
unterteilen?
18. Fazit und Ausblick
Vielfältigere Analyse der Wiki-Nutzungsmotivation mit Hilfe
des Motivation Sources Inventory von Barbuto & Scholl
Zusammenfassung der Ergebnisse:
Internes Selbstbild, instrumentelle Motivation, Internalisierung
von Zielen sind besonders relevante Motivationskategorien
Intrinsische Prozessmotivation ist Wiki- und nutzerabhängig
Externes Selbstbild spielt eine geringe Rolle
Ausblick:
Weitere Validierung der Hypothesen
Ableitung von Handlungsempfehlungen
